How To make Feathery Fudge Cake
2 1/2 Squares (2 1/2 Ounces)
-Unsweetened Baking -Chocolate Broken Into Pieces 3/4 c (6 Ounces) Butter Or
-Margarine, Softened 2 c Sugar
1 ts Vanilla Extract
2 lg Eggs
2 1/4 c Unbleached All-Purpose Flour
1 1/4 ts Baking Soda
1/2 ts Salt
1 1/3 c Water
Yield: 10 To 12 Servings Pre-heat the oven to 350 Degrees F. In a small microwave safe bowl, place the chocolate and microwave on HIGH (100 %) power for 1 1/2 to 2 minutes or until smooth when stirred; set aside to cool slightly. Grease and flour two 9 inch round baking pans. In a large mixing bowl, beat the butter, sugar,
and vanilla until light and fluffy. Add the eggs and cooled chocolate blending well. In a separate bowl, stir together the flour, baking soda and salt; add alternately with the water to the chocolate mixture beating well after each addition. Pour the batter evenly into the 2 prepared pans. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in the middle comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes in the pans and remove from the pans and place on a rack to finish cooling. When the layers are completely cool, frost with any desired frosting.

This is the best fudgy sweet and salty #brownies! What makes this special is the perfect combination of sweetness, saltiness and the added texture of the walnuts on this #chocolatebrownies. Adding coffee truly brings out the chocolate flavor of this brownies. Best served when chilled. Did I mention that I baked this brownies in a toaster oven?
Brownies Recipe Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter
200 grams of dark chocolate (or chocolate of your choice)
1/4 cup cocoa powder (another 1/4 cup of cocoa powder will be added later)
1/2 tbsp granulated coffee
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
a pinch or 2 of salt
1 tsp of vanilla extract
3 eggs
1/2 cup of flour
1/4 cup of cocoa powder
Nuts of your choice
Sea Salt

In fact, I have heard from one pastor that people who are blessed should be the loudest worshippers, not people who are experiencing troubles in life. Unfortunately this is my mistake. When I have everything I need, I tend to become silent and chill, and it takes a problem to bring me back to my senses that I have to worship God. This has to change. I should be more bolder and louder in worship during times of blessings, like King David when he was bringing the Ark of the Covenant into Jerusalem - undignified. God bless!

BAKE OFF VEGAN BAKE ALONG - CARAMEL WEEK // vegan millionaire's shortbread
Welcome to week 7 of The Great British Bake Off Vegan Bake Along! This week was Caramel Week which was, technically, the most challenging week yet and I decided to create vegan millionaire's shortbread aka vegan chocolate caramel shortbread! So, in this week's video, you'll find a vegan caramel recipe AND a vegan butter shortbread recipe - it's a good 'un - enjoy!

THE RECIPE:
INGREDIENTS:
For the shortbread:
275g plain flour
200g vegan butter (block form is better)
125g caster sugar
For the caramel:
100g vegan butter
100g golden caster sugar
1 can Nestle vegan condensed milk
Toppings:
200g vegan milk chocolate
50g vegan white chocolate
METHOD:
- Start by combining your flour and sugar in a bowl, then add in your vegan butter then using your hands, crumble together until resembling breadcrumbs then press into a dough
- Pre-heat your oven to 180 degrees celsius, line a rectangle baking tin and press your shortbread dough into the tin and smooth until evenly covered then place in the oven and bake for 20 minutes until lightly golden
- Allow the shortbread to cool in the tin and then get started on the caramel
- Add your golden sugar and butter to a pan and on a medium heat, allow to melt, once melted continue stirring until your mix becomes less yellow and more golden/amber in colour
- Once the amber colour is achieved, add your full tin of vegan condensed milk, turn the heat up and bring to a boil, stirring continuously for around 1 minute, then bring the heat back down to low and continue stirring for 10 minutes - the caramel should start to thicken in this time.
- Keeping the shortbread in the tin, pour your caramel onto the biscuit base and then place in the fridge or freezer for around 1 hour.
- Just before removing your biscuit/caramel from the fridge, use a water bath to melt your milk and white chocolate separately. Pour the milk chocolate onto the caramel and spread evenly, then add dots of white chocolate onto the surface and use a sharp knife to swirl the chocolate in.
- Place back in the fridge for 1 - 2 hours then slice into squares and enjoy!
