HOW TO MAKE A CAKE -???? EARTHQUAKE???? VLOGMAS
Hey Shining Stars!!
I would FIRST like to Thanks MZK Baby for this recipe. I saw it THERE FIRST!
THIS is SO GOOD!!!
Here is the recipe:
1 box German Chocolate Cake Mix (do not prepare as directed on box, prepare as directed below)
1/3 cup vegetable oil
3 large eggs
1 and 1/3 cup water
2/3 cup shredded coconut
2/3 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1 stick (1/2 cup) unsalted butter
8 oz cream cheese
1 pound powdered sugar (3 and 3/4 cups)---I MESSED UP AND ONLY USED ONE CUP...
OMG! I Didn't add enough powdered sugar in my cream cheese mixture, hence the reason it sunk to the bottom of the cake. It was STILL good, though! LOL''
Thanks For Watching!
MUCH Love!

Ingredients:
1 box Devils Food cake mix (mix per directions - I substituted my water for buttermilk)
1 8 oz. cream cheese
2 1/2 c. powdered sugar
1/2 c. melted butter
1 1/2 c. shredded sweet coconut
1 c. chopped pecans
1 c. chocolate chips ( I used a mix of white and miniature chocolate morsels)
Directions:
Preheat over to 350 degrees.
Mix cake mix according to directions and set aside.
In a separate bowl, combine cream cheese, powdered sugar and butter and beat until smooth.
Spray a 9x13 glass baking dish with non stick spray.
Add coconut and pecans to bottom of dish. Then add cake mixture and spread evenly. Drop spoonfuls of the ream cheese mixture in cake batter and swirl a little with a knife. You want to keep these mostly intact and raised higher than cake batter. Sprinkle with chocolate chips.
Bake for 45-50 minutes until chocolate cake is done.
Enjoy!

Earthquake Sheet Cake

Hey, RitasEatas! In this video, I'll show you how I made my Earthquake Sheet Cake. This is a delicious cake, and my favorite thing about it is, it's quick and easy, and always a hit and a crowd pleaser! It's a cross between a cake and a brownie but has all the taste of a German Chocolate cake! I think this will be one you'll be adding to your recipe box. Enjoy????
Here's what you'll need; I'll show you what to do:
1German Chocolate cake mix
prepared according to box
2cups flaked coconut
1-1/2cups chopped pecans
1cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
8oz of cream cheese
1stick of butter
2cups of powdered sugar
NOTE: To get a really cool looking top, don't mix those dollops of cream cheese mixture into cake batter too much. I do this bcus my family prefers it mixed instead of just dolloped into batter, but you decide.
