The Cake Recipe 'Mrs Brown'
1 egg
4 tablespoons sugar (~80gr, ~2,8 oz)
2 tablespoons hazelnut oil (30 ml)
140 ml + 1 teaspoon milk (3/5 cup + 1 teaspoon, 4,7 liq. oz + 1 teaspoon)
120 gr all-purpose flour (4,2 oz. or 1 cup minus a tablespoon)
10 gr baking powder (2,5 teaspoons)
10 gr vanillin (1 teaspoon or half teaspoon vanilla extract)
A tablespoon cacao
A small banana
1 handful of hazelnuts (~50 gr, ~1,7 oz.)
• Whisk 1 egg and 4 tablespoons of sugar in a large bowl. Whisk the mixture until it becomes a pale yellow. Whisking the egg very well helps to cake to rise better while cooking.
• Add 1 tablespoon of hazelnut oil and 140 milk into the bowl and continue to whisk. If you like to add butter, first melt the butter and don’t mix before it gets cold.
• Now, add 120 gr of flour, 10 gr of baking powder and 10 gr of vanillin into the cake mixture. You can use vanilla extract as well.
• While making a cake mixture always mix liquids first then add dry ingredients to not to work the gluten into the flour. This can cause a glue-like cake.
• You can taste the mixture at this point and add extra sugar if you like to.
• Now you have the cake base. You can cook it or make a more exciting cake like I do. To do that, slice a small banana into cubes and add to the mixture.
• Crush a handful of hazelnuts and add them as well.
• To cook the cake in a fry pan, yes you don’t need an oven to make this cake,
• Pour a tablespoon of hazelnut oil into a ceramic pan and heat. When the oil gets more fluid, spread the oil to the sides of the pan with a paper towel.
• Pour half of the mixture into the pan and put the lid on.
• Add a tablespoon of cacao and a teaspoon of milk to the rest of the mixture and whisk well.
• Pour the cacao mixture into the center of the pan and spread the cacao mixture into the yellow one with the handle of a spoon to make a marble cake.
• Put the lid on again and cook the cake on a medium stove with the lowest heat for 12 minutes.
• Then turn the heat off and again with the lid on, let it rest for 3-4 minutes to let the cake to soak up all the sogginess. If you continue to cook the bottom can get burn easily.
• After resting your fast and heavenly cake is ready to eat. Enjoy at home with your loved ones!

TORNADO CAKE
INGREDIENTS:
Cake:
2 cups all purpose flour
1 teaspoons baking soda
2 cups granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
20oz can crushed pineapple with juice
Topping:
1/2 cup salted butter
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
2/3 cup evaporated milk
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup chopped pecans
1 cup sweetened coconut flakes
INSTRUCTIONS:
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees and grease a 9×13″ baking pan with butter
In a large mixing bowl, mix together your flour, sugar, baking soda, eggs, vanilla, and crushed pineapple
Pour into your baking pan and bake for 40-45 minutes or until golden brown
Poke several holes in the cake with the handle of a wooden spoon
In a medium sized sauce pan, heat your butter, sugar, evaporated milk, and vanilla until it reaches a boil
Mix in your pecans and coconut and continue cooking for about 5 minutes on medium heat, stirring constantly
Pour your topping evenly over your cake
Serve and enjoy !!!

Prepare Green Velvet Cake:
-Pakola Full Cream Milk 1 Cup (room temperature)
-Sirka (Vinegar) 2 tsp
-Maida (All-purpose flour) 2 & ½ Cups
-Cocoa powder 2 tbs
-Baking soda 1 tsp
-Namak (Salt) ½ tsp
-Anday (Eggs) 2 (room temperature)
-Cooking oil 1 Cup
-Vanilla essence ½ tbs
-Bareek cheeni (Caster sugar) 1 & ½ Cup
-Green gel food color ½ tsp
Prepare Cream Cheese Frosting:
-Makhan (Butter) soften 150g
-Icing sugar 1 & ½ Cup
-Cream cheese 200g
-White chocolate melted 50g
-Vanilla essence 1 tsp
Directions:
Prepare Green Velvet Cake:
-Grease 8” inch baking pan with cooking oil,linen with butter paper & set aside.
-In milk,add vinegar,mix well and let it rest for 5 minutes.Buttermilk is ready!
-On a bowl,place a sifter,add all-purpose flour,cocoa powder,baking soda,salt & sift together then mix well & set aside.
-In a bowl,add prepared buttermilk,eggs,cooking oil,vanilla essence & beat well.
-Add caster sugar & beat well.
-Add green gel food color & beat well.
-Now add dry ingredients & beat until well combined.
-Pour cake batter on greased baking pan and tap few times.
-Bake in preheated oven at 180 C for 45-50 minutes.
-Take out from the oven & let it cool for 10 minutes.
-Remove cake from baking pan & invert onto a wire rack and cool down completely.
Prepare Cream Cheese Frosting:
-In a bowl,add butter & beat until it changes color.
-Gradually add icing sugar & beat well.
-Add cream cheese,white chocolate,vanilla essence & beat well for 2-3 minutes.
-Transfer to a piping bag & refrigerate until use.
-Trim a thin layer from the top of sponge cake with a serrated knife then horizontally cut two layers of cake.
-On base of sponge cake,add & spread prepared cream cheese frosting & place top layer of cake over it.
-Add & spread prepared cream cheese frosting and frost the outside of the cake with cream cheese frosting.
-Decorate the cake with star sprinkles and cake crumbles.
-Refrigerate for 1 hour & serve!

Hi, Kristi in the Rada Kitchen and today I am going to make a Heavenly Strawberry Dessert. This recipe is out of our cookbook titled Picnics, Potlucks and BBQs. So the next time you get invited to one of these you can take something better than an ordinary bucket of chicken or the plain old pan of brownies. There are finger food recipes, casseroles, side dishes, grilled meats and some really good desserts. There are over 120 recipes in this cookbook so you're sure to find something that everybody will love.
So today I am going to make the Heavenly Strawberry Dessert. You will need a 9 x 13 baking dish, I am using the Rada 9 x 13 Rectangular Stoneware Baker, you will need 1 quart of sliced strawberries, a cup of sugar, a 10 prepared angel food cake, an 8 oz. carton of whipped topping, 18 oz. container of strawberry glaze and 2 8 oz. packages of cream cheese that have been softened.
Place the softened cream cheese in a bowl and add one cup of sugar. Now I am going to use the Rada Handi-Stir to mix the sugar and cream cheese. It takes a little bit to get the sugar worked in and then once that is worked in you will be able to easily whip it up. Then we are going to fold in the whipped topping. Now you fold this in because you don't want to lose the fluffiness of the whipped topping so you gently lift and fold.
Next we are going to slice up the angel food cake using the Rada 6 Bread Slicer, it easily cuts through the cake. Then place the slices in the baking dish. You might want to tear them up a bit if they are too big, so you have all different sizes. Then take a piece of plastic wrap or parchment paper, lay that over your angel food cake pieces and then smash them down take all of the fluff out of them.
The next layer you will take the cool whip/cream cheese mixture and spread that over the angel food cake slices until it is all even.
Next we will mix our sliced strawberries. Now I used the Rada Peeling Paring knife to slice these. It's easy to take out the stems and its super sharp. Once you have your strawberries sliced you are going to mix them with the glaze. Mix until all the strawberries are evenly coated. Spread this mixture over the cool whip/cream cheese layer. Evenly spread it to all the corners. Put in the refrigerator for 2 hours or until ready to serve.
The dessert has been in the refrigerator for two hours and it's very beautiful and tasty. I am going to cut a piece out for you using the Mini Server. Impress your friends at your next BBQ or potluck! Find more recipes in the Picnics, Potlucks and BBQs cookbook!
