Blueberry Mead - Simple Homemade Recipe. I don't know why it took so long for us to make blueberry mead. I mean, we love blueberries, we love mead, why haven't we done it? Dunno. Anyway, we came up with a pretty easy recipe for homemade blueberry mead and here it is! We use frozen blueberries for this, but you can easily use fresh, or even blueberry juice to make your own mead if you wanted to.

I wanted to use my honey wisely and get two different recipes from this - so we are making a dry hopped (and carbonated) mead recipe and a traditional raspberry blossom honey mead. How We Made 30% ABV MEAD!
That's right, we made a MEAD that has 30% alcohol content! It took some math, and some brewing, and some expletives, but it worked! The real question is, how does 30% ABV Mead taste?

Ingredients: 3.5 lbs Wild Flower Honey 1/2 teaspoon Wine Tannin: 96 oz Water 2.5 grams Fermaid O: 1 packet Red Star Premier Blanc Yeast:

My First Amazing Dry Traditional Mead
Today I’m on a quest to make an amazing dry traditional mead! This traditional mead features mamane blossom honey. Mamane honey is Hawaiian honey that features some really interesting fruity and tropical flavors. A dry traditional mead is one that is 1.010 FG and below (according to the BJCP Guidelines).
