How To make Donahue Lemon Cake
1 pk Duncan Hines Lemon Supreme
Cake mix 1 pk JELLO 3.5 oz.INSTANT lemon
Pudding 1/4 c Lemon juice
4 lg Eggs
1/2 ts Lemon extract
2/3 c Canola oil
GLAZE: 1/4 c Lemon juice
1 t Grated lemon zest
1/2 ts Lemon extract
1 c Confectioners' sugar
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In the bowl of an electric mixer, add the cake mixture and instant pudding and set aside. In a measuring cup, add the lemon juice and enough cold water to make 2/3 cup. Add the eggs, lemon/water combination and lemon extract to the dry ingredients and combine. Pour in the oil and beat at medium speed for 6 minutes or until smooth. Lightly oil a Bundt pan, pour in the mixture, and back for 45 minutes or until the top is golden, and the cake is springy to the touch. While the cake is baking prepare the glaze. In a small bowl, whisk the lemon juice, zest, lemon extract, and confectioners' sugar until smooth. Set aside. When the cake is done, cool down for 5 minutes, invert, and unmold. Using a poultry needle or toothpick, pierce the top of the cake with 1-inch deep holes. Spoon the glaze over the cake and cool. Serve with fresh berries if desired. Slimming World 1 Syn Per Slice Cake !
Hi, thought I'd post my go to cake while on Slimming World. Acutually I've always made this, I mean for years, way before my SW journey. It works out at 8 syns for the whole cake and I cut into 8 x slices.
Ingredients I use are...
4oz Plain Cous Cous
2 x Eggs
½ tsp Baking Powder
2 x tbsp Sweetner
2 x tbsp Lemon Curd
1 x Fat Free Yogurt
1 x Lemon
Carnation Chocolate Drizzle was new to me and oh wow its amazing and 2½ syns per tbsp (I used half)

Today I am sharing how I like to bake my cakes in our slow cooker.. I find this way of baking makes my cakes so deliciously moist as its more like steaming your cake than drying them out in the oven!

Lemon Crescent Cream Cheese Bars
non stick spray
2 cans of crescent rolls
2 lemons zest
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 packages of softened creams cheese 8 oz
1/4 cup lemon juice approx 2 lemons
2 tbsp melted butter
2 tbsp sugar
1/2 a lemon zest
cook in a 350 degree oven for about 30 minutes
let cool then put in fridge for 1 hour
all ovens will vary (I cooked mine for exactly 35 minutes.
