How To make Crockpot Stuffed Green Peppers

Directions:
Cut a slice off top of each pepper. Remove core, seeds, and white membrane. In a small bowl, combine beef, onion, pimiento, salt, and corn. Spoon into peppers. Stand peppers up in slow-cooking pot. Add worcestershire sauce and mustard to soup. Pour over peppers. Cover pot; cook on low 8 to 10 hours.
Makes 5 to 6 servings.

1 pound lean ground beef
1 red pepper (diced)
1 yellow pepper (diced)
1 green pepper (diced)
1 medium onion (diced)
1 tsp minced garlic
4 cups chicken broth (I used unsalted)
15 oz can tomato sauce
14.5 oz can fire roasted tomatoes
1 small can tomato paste
2 bay leaves
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp basil
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 cup minute rice (uncooked) Add the last 20-30 minutes of cooking.
Cook on high 4-5 hours or low 7-8 hours.
Top with shredded cheese if desired!

Slow Cooker Stuffed Green Peppers
1 pound ground beef or ground turkey
1/4 cup rolled oats
1/4 cup long grain rice, uncooked
1/3 cup chopped onion
1/4 tsp Italian Seasoning
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 tsp minced garlic
1 cup water
1 1/2 cups pasta sauce
6 bell peppers
1. Cut tops off the peppers and clean out the inside
2. Mix ground beef, oatmeal, rice, onion, garlic & seasonings
3. Stuff each pepper with the meat mixture
4. Place peppers in slow cooker standing against each other
5. Pour water into slow cooker but not on the peppers
6. Pour pasta sauce over the top of the peppers
7. Place lid on slow cooker and cook on low for 6-7 hours
8. Optional: when done, put shredded cheese of your choosing on top of peppers. Apply lid & cook until cheese melts.

1 large onion
2-4 cloves garlic
1-2 Tbsp ají panca or any other chili paste (optional)
1/2 cup coarsely chopped peanuts

3 hard-boiled eggs
