Jambalaya | Crocktober | Slow Cooker Recipe
Hey guys! I’ve been under the weather with bronchitis and thought I’d make some spicy comfort food tonight.
I love jambalaya! LOVE IT!
Nothing like spicy food on a cold night.
If you want to make this super easy dinner, here’s what you need:
1 chicken breast, chunked up
2 smoked sausage, sliced
1lb shrimp
2 stalks(?) celery, sliced
1 bell pepper, chopped
1 can (8oz) tomato sauce
1 can tomato soup
1 can rotel, drained
My seasoning blend (adjust to your taste!)
1tbsp paprika
1 tsp red pepper flakes
1 tsp garlic
1 tsp onion
1 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp oregano
To make this recipe, combine ALL BUT shrimp and sausage in the slow cooker. Cook on high for 3.5 hours. Add shrimp and sausage. Cook another half hour or until shrimp is fully cooked. Serve over rice.
To make the rice in my instant pot, I put 1 tbsp olive oil in my instant pot with 2 cups rice and 4 cups water for 12 minutes.
I hope you enjoy this video and this recipe. If so, give it a thumbs up, and leave a comment below! Don’t forget to subscribe and check out the rest of my #Crocktober playlist!
