Caramel Apple Dip l The Recipe Rebel
PRINTABLE RECIPE & NUTRITION INFO:
Ingredients
▢1 package cream cheese (8oz or 250 grams), room temperature
▢¼ cup powdered sugar
▢1 teaspoon vanilla extract
▢¾ cup heavy whipping cream
▢¾ cup caramel sauce (more to taste if needed)
▢¼ cup Skor or Heath toffee bits
▢½ teaspoon flaked sea salt (optional)
Instructions
In a medium bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add powdered sugar and vanilla and beat until smooth, scraping the sides as necessary
Add cream and beat on low until combined, then on high speed until thick and fluffy (this can take a few minutes). Spread into the bottom of a 3–4 cup baking dish (you can also spread it right on a serving platter).
Pour caramel sauce over top and smooth with a spatula.
Sprinkle with toffee bits and flaky sea salt, if using. If not serving immediately, chill until ready to serve (chilling will help the caramel firm up, but it's not necessary).
Serve with sliced apples.
Simple Cream Cheese Fruit Dip Recipe | Quick & Easy No Bake Dip Recipe
This cream cheese fruit dip recipe is perfect to bring to any picnic, party, or just having in the house to eat when that sweet craving hits! This cream cheese fruit dip recipe comes together within minutes and you can use a lower fat cream cheese or a small 8 oz. container of lite or fat-free Cool Whip to cut the calories. Eat this cream cheese fruit dip with any fruit, graham crackers, or cookies like vanilla wafers or ginger snaps. If you would like a sweeter cream cheese fruit dip, add an additional tablespoon (or more) of confectioner sugar or granulated sugar and 1 tablespoon of freshly squeezed lemon juice. This cream cheese fruit dip is perfect for those warmer months when you want a sweet treat, but don't want something heavy for dessert. Store this cream cheese fruit dip in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
Ingredients:
1- 8 oz. package of block style cream cheese (room temperature)
2-3 tbsp. confectioner sugar
1 1/2 tsp. pure vanilla extract
8 oz. heavy whipping cream (or 8 oz. container of cool whip)
1 tbsp granulated sugar (optional)
1 tbsp lemon juice (optional)
Directions
1. In a large bowl, add one softened 8 ounce package of cream cheese. Mix the cream cheese on a medium speed using a hand or stand mixer until it is fully mixed together. If you would like to cut the calories, use a lower fat cream cheese to make this fruit dip.
2. Add in 2 - 3 tablespoons of confectioners sugar and 1 1/2 teaspoons of vanilla extract. Continue mixing on a medium speed until the ingredients are mixed in. Scrape down the bowl and make sure the mixture is smooth.
3. In a separate bowl, add 8 ounces of heavy cream to make homemade whipped cream. Using a hand mixer on a medium speed, mix until the heavy cream it starts to thicken and stiff peaks start to form. This will take about 5-8 minutes. Add the whipped cream mixture to the cream cheese mixture and mix together until it is blended. If you are short on time, you can always use a small container of cool whip instead of making homemade whipped cream.
4. Use a spatula and scrape down the sides and bottom of the bowl to make sure everything is mixed together. If the dip is not sweet enough, I found that adding 1 tablespoon of granulated sugar and 1 tablespoon of lemon juice was the perfect amount of sweetness.
