4 c Flour 2 ts Baking soda 1/2 ts Baking powder 1 ts Salt 2 c Shortening 2 c Granulated sugar 2 c Brown sugar 4 Eggs 3 c Uncooked rolled oats 2 ts Vanilla 12 oz Semisweet chocolate chips Sift together the flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt; set aside. Combine the shortening and sugars, and cream well. Beat in eggs until thoroughly blended. Stir in sifted dry ingredients, and mix well. Add oats, vanilla and chocolate chips.
