How To make Cornmeal Nips
1 c Yellow Stone-Ground Cornmeal
1 1/2 ts Sugar
1 t Salt
1 t Grated Onion
2 tb Butter Or Margarine
1 t Tabasco Pepper Sauce
1 1/2 c Boiling Water
1 lg Egg, Lightly Beaten
For a change of pace from crackers or rolls, serve these zesty little wafers with soups or salads. ~

Preheat the oven to 400oF. In a large bowl, mix together the cornmeal, sugar,salt, onion, butter and Tabasco sauce. Add the boiling water and stir until it is absorbed. Stir in the egg. Drop by teaspoons onto a greased baking sheet. Bake for 15 minutes, then remove and cool on a rack. From: The Tabasco Cookbook. Typed by Syd Bigger.

Hello all! Don't you love Thanksgiving? I love all the old favorites! But, sometimes the points are very high. With this lightened up recipe, you can have that sweet corn pudding. Corn Pudding
1 can of whole kernel corn (drained)
2 cans of cream style corn
2 1/4 TBSP of all purpose flour
2 TBSP whipped cream cheese
2 TBSP whipped salted butter
1/4 cup yellow corn meal
1 egg
1 tsp of sugar
1 packet of instant rising yeast
Add all three cans of corn to bowl. Add flour, cornmeal, whipped cream cheese and butter. Mix well. Then add your egg, sugar and yeast packet. Mix well. Spray a 2 quart dish with cooking spray and add your corn mix. Let sit for 40-45 mins so yeast and work. After 40 mins, pre-heat oven to 425 and then cook for corn pudding for about 40 mins. Let sit 5-10 min and serve! Serves 9 and 4 pts a serving.

nutmeg mace
vanilla
almond
coconut milk
condense milk

Goose's Greatest Eats: Cornbread!
It's Bills game day, so we prepare a delicious cornbread to eat at half-time! My co-chef Blatz is up to some sneaky shenanigans though...
Ingredients:
1 Cup Flour
1 Cup Cornmeal
2/3 Cup Sugar
1 Tsp Salt
3 1/2 Tsp Baking Powder
1 Egg
1 Cup Milk
1/3 Cup Vegetable Oil
4 Small Jalapeño Peppers, diced (optional)
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees
2. Lightly spray baking pan
3. In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, cornmeal, and mix.
4. In another bowl, combine egg, oil, and milk and beat
5. Combine both bowls and mix well
6. Add peppers if desired
7. Pour into baking dish
8. Bake 20-30 minutes depending on how thick you pour it and cornbread is done in the middle.
