These cookies are a fun twist on plain brownies and the perfect way to feed your chocolate cravings. If you haven’t tried cookies made with a brownie mix, you’re in for a treat.

Cookie Dough Brownies
These Cookie Dough Brownies are SO decadent—fudgy brownies topped with raw cookie dough (minus the eggs and with pre-baked flour for safety!) are such an amazing combination! You probably have everything you need to make these in your pantry, and they’re the perfect treat to bake with kiddos during our time at home.
COOKIE DOUGH TRUFFLES:
Cookie Dough Brownies
(recipe from our family friend, Lori—thank you!)
1 box brownie mix (I used Duncan Hines Thick and Fudgy 13 x 9 prepared according to package directions— ¼ c. water, ½ c. vegetable oil, and 2 eggs)
2 sticks unsalted butter, room temperature
1 c. brown sugar
½ c. white sugar
4 Tbsp. milk
2 tsp. vanilla extract
pinch of salt
2 c. all purpose flour
1 bag mini chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350*. Sprinkle 2 c. all purpose flour onto a parchment lined baking tray. Bake at 350* for 5-6 minutes. Cool completely then break apart any clumps with a fork.
While the flour bakes, prepare the brownie batter. Pour into a greased 13 x 9in. glass baking dish (can also use an 8x8in or 9x9in). Bake the brownies according to package directions. Cool completely.
With an electric hand mixer or stand mixer, beat together the butter, brown sugar, white sugar, milk, vanilla, and a pinch of salt. Add the flour 1 c. at a time, mixing in between, until fully incorporated. Stir in the mini chocolate chips by hand.
Spread the cookie dough onto the cooled brownies. Refrigerate for an hour before cutting. ENJOY!
