How to Make Chocolate Cookies: Snowball Chocolate Cookies Recipe
Professional chef, baker and author, Cricket Azima demonstrates an easy chocolate cookie recipe that is fast and delicious! This sugar coated Chocolate Snowball recipe is sure to be kid-approved!

Recipe:
Chocolate Snowballs
1 pouch (1 lb 1.5 oz) Betty Crocker® sugar cookie mix
½ cup butter or margarine, melted
1 egg
¼ cup Gold Medal® all-purpose flour
¼ cup unsweetened baking cocoa
½ cup finely chopped almonds
1 teaspoon almond extract
60 Hershey's® Kisses® Brand milk chocolates, unwrapped
¾ cup powdered sugar
1.Heat oven to 375°F. In large bowl, stir cookie mix, butter, egg, flour, cocoa, almonds and extract until soft dough forms.
2.Shape dough into sixty 3/4-inch balls; wrap each around 1 milk chocolate candy. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
3.Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until set. Immediately remove from cookie sheet. Cool slightly, about 5 minutes.
4.Roll cookies in powered sugar. Cool completely, about 15 minutes. Re-roll cookies in powdered sugar. Store tightly covered.
Makes About 5 dozen cookies
No-Bake Chocolate Rum Snowballs | Food Wishes
These no-bake chocolate rum snowballs put a seasonal twist on the classic rum ball, which is one of the easiest, most delicious no-bake cookies ever. For the full snowball effect, these are coated in white chocolate, and rolled in coconut, but you can also finish them more simply by rolling in powdered sugar. Enjoy!

Chocolate Coconut Snowballs Recipe - No Bake

INGREDIENTS:
250g Mascarpone cream
1 teaspoon vanilla
50g icing sugar
100g desiccated coconut
200g chocolate chips
40g butter
TOOLS:
Wooden spoon
Tablespoon
Plastic bowl
21 Toothpicks
Baking sheet & baking tray
INSTRUCTIONS:
1- In the bowl, using the tablespoon, mix the Mascarpone cheese with the vanilla and the icing sugar.
2- Add the desiccated coconut to the mixture and mix everything until well combined.
3- Make balls about the size of walnut and put them onto the Baking sheet & baking tray.
4- Put them in the freezer for 2 hours.
5- Melt the chocolate chips in the microwave for 1 minute or melt them using the ‘’water bath’’ method.
WATER BATH METHOD:
Take a pan, fill it with boiled water, and put it under medium heat
lay an aluminum bowl on the pan and melt the chocolate inside it and keep stirring using a wooden spoon, until the chocolate becomes creamy.
6- Using the toothpicks, dip the coconut balls into the melted chocolate and place them again on the cookie sheet.
7- Refrigerate them either in the fridge or freezer for 2 hours.
