How To make Chocolate Shortcakes
2 c Flour, all purpose
1/2 c Sugar, granulated
1/3 c Cocoa powder, unsweetened
1 tb Baking powder
1 ts Baking soda
1/2 c Butter or margarine, cold
1 c Buttermilk OR plain low-fat
Yogurt 2 ts Sugar
Heat oven to 375 degrees. Grease 2 cookie sheets. In a large bowl mix flour, granulated sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder and baking soda. Cut butter in pieces. With pastry blender or 2 knives cut butter into flour mixture until coarse crumbs form. with a fork stir in buttermilk or yogurt until mixture clumps together. Divide in half. Put each on a cookie sheet in a 6-inch round. Sprinkle each with sugar. Bake one at a time 20 minutes until pick inserted in center comes out clean. cool on sheet on rack 5 minutes before removing to rack to cool completely. To Make Strawberry Shortcake: Not more than 2 hours before serving. Layer with cream and berries. Top with cream. Garnish with a whole berry. Just before serving pour on chocolate topping.

Easy Chocolate Chip Shortbread : ONLY 2 STEPS
Chocolate chip Shortbread/Chocolate chip cookie recipe/Chocolate chip finger biscuits.
These delicious chocolate chip shortbread finger biscuits are soft and crumbly and so easy to make it at home.
Chocolate chip shortbread finger biscuits can be prepared in two simple steps.No hard to find ingredient required no special equipments required and we can make them in less than one hour.
Ingredients:
Sugar:75 g
Butter:150 g
Flour:225 g
Chocolate chips:According to your preference (1/2 cup -1cup)
A pinch of salt
Method
Step 1
Mix together all the ingredients and transfer on to a baking tray lined with parchment paper and smooth out the surface.
Prick the surface of the dough with the tines of fork so that steam can pass easily and the it will not bubble or puff wile baking.
Step 2
Bake at 320 F for 40-45 minutes
Cut them into rectangles or squares when they are still warm and let it cool down completely in the tray itself.
Size of my baking pan 18 cmx 28 cm or 7 in x 11in.

Serves: 6-7
Recipe in English:
Ingredients:
-Anday (Eggs) 2 large
-Caster sugar ¾ Cup
-Makhan (Butter) unsalted ½ Cup (100 gms) room temperature
-Namak (Salt) ¼ tsp
-Vanilla essence 1 tsp
-Cocoa powder 1/3 Cup
-Maida (All-purpose flour) sifted ½ Cup
-Icing sugar
Directions:
-In bowl,add eggs,caster sugar and beat for 2-3 minutes.
-Add butter and beat until well combined.
-Add salt,vanilla essence,cocoa powder and beat well.
-Add all-purpose flour and fold it with the help of the spatula.
-In 8 x 8 inch baking pan,place butter paper and pour prepared batter,spread evenly and tab baking pan for 2-3 times on working counter.
-Bake in preheated oven at 170 C for 20-25 minutes
-Insert a tooth pick/stick in baked brownie,if it comes clean,brownie is ready.
-Let it cool down and cut into desired pieces.
-Sprinkle icing sugar & serve!
-Can be store for up to 2-3 days in air tight container on shelf and can be freeze for up to 1 month than thaw overnight in refrigerator.

-8 x 8 inch baking pan mein butter paper laga ker tayyar batter dal ker evenly pheela lein aur working counter per 2-3 dafa tab ker lein.
-Preheated oven mein 170 C per 20-25 minutes kliya bake ker lein.
-Brownie mein tooth pick/stick insert ker ka check ker lein agar tooth pick/stick saaf niklay tou brownie tayyar hai.
-Thanda ker lein aur desired pieces mein cut ker lein.
-Icing sugar chirak ker serve karein.
-Air tight container mein dal ker 2-3 din kliya shelf per store ker saktay han aur 1 month kliya freeze ker saktay han phir refrigerator mein thaw kerna kliya overnight rakh dein.

I got a new OXO cookie press and thought I would try some Chocolate Shortbread cookies. The gadget worked very well and the resultant shortbread is delicious.

Chocolate Shortbread Cookies
Chocolate Shortbread Cookies are a chocolate lover's dream cookie. This cookie has the traditional shortbread ingredients with a nice addition of dark chocolate and cocoa powder. I chose dark chocolate due to is richness in flavor and color as it gives these chocolate shortbread a beautiful color and great flavor profile. I particularly relish the idea of enjoying a batch of these with a glass of cold milk while ready my favorite book.
Here is the recipe:
55g/ 1/3 cup dark chocolate (melted)
226g/ 1 cup unsalted butter (room temperature)
60g/ 1/2 cup powdered sugar
281g/ 2.25 cups all-purpose flour
28g/ 2 tbsp. cocoa powder
1g/ 1/4 tsp salt
2g/ 1/2 tsp vanilla
Bake @ 350F/ 176C for 15 minutes (oven vary)
