How To make Chocolate Greeting Card Cake

1 3/4 c All-purpose flour
1 3/4 c Sugar
3/4 c Hershey's cocoa
1 1/2 ts Baking soda
3/4 ts Salt
2/3 c Butter or margarine;
-softened 16 oz Dairy sour cream
2 Eggs
1 ts Vanilla extract
One-bowl buttercream -frosting: 6 tb Butter or margarine;
-softened 2 2/3 c Powdered sugar
1/3 c Hershey's cocoa
4 tb Milk; (4 to 5)
1 ts Vanilla extract
Decorating frosting -(optional) Colored sprinkles (optional) Recipe by: www.hersheys.com Heat oven to 350 F. Grease and flour 13x9x2-inch baking pan. In large bowl, stir together flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda and salt. Add butter, sour cream, eggs and vanilla; beat on medium speed of electric mixer 3 minutes. Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake 40 to 45 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes; remove from pan to wire rack. Cool completely.
Transfer cake to serving plate. Frost with ONE-BOWL BUTTERCREAM FROSTING. Decorate cake to resemble greeting card. 12 to 15 servings. ONE-BOWL BUTTERCREAM FROSTING: In medium bowl, beat butter until creamy. Gradually add sugar and cocoa alternately with milk and vanilla, beating until of spreading consistency.
