Now let me tell you just in case you dont know already, i like my food extra flavorful, just well seasoned, my beef stew is no exception, everyone that has tried it always compliments how DELICIOUS it is! It has the base of beef stew with extra kick from the chili flakes and spices used to season the meat, i promise you its the BEST!???? 3 lbs beef chuck roast (trimmed and cut into 1- 1 1/2 inch)
1/4 cup flour
1 tbsp dried Italian seasoning
2-2 1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp black pepper
1 tsp paprika or chili powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder
3 tbsp vegetable oil
1 yellow onion;chopped
3 minced garlic cloves
4-5 cups low sodium beef broth
2 tbsp tomato paste
2 bay leafs
1 tsp chili flakes (optional)
3 celery sticks
4 carrots
3 medium sized yellow Idaho potatoes
1 cup peas(optional)
Chopped fresh parsley

She prepared this dish throughout the year, Winter or Summer and not only is it delicious and easy but it’s very affordable and it goes a long way. Everyone I know loves this dish, and children love it too. We always had it with delicious beans on the side and freshly made tortillas. I have continued the tradition and am sharing this wonderful recipe with you, I hope you give it a try.❤️

1 lb. 80/20 ground beef
1 C. Chopped onions
3 small / medium green onions (with some green part)
3/4 C. diced green Bell pepper
1 Celery rib (slices)
2 Serrano peppers (optional )
1 large cubed Russet potato
3 large garlic cloves
1 tsp whole cumin
1 tsp peppercorn
4 oz Fideo (Vermicelli)
1 1/2 Tbsp Chicken Bouillon tomato flavor ( I like knorr)
14 oz diced tomatoes
7 C. Water

INGREDIENTS for the Classic Beef Stew Recipe:
►6 oz thick sliced bacon chopped into 1/4 wide strips
►2 - 2 1/2 lbs boneless beef chuck or good quality stew meat trimmed and cut into 1 pieces
►Salt and ground black pepper to taste
►1/4 cup all-purpose flour
►2 cups good red wine such as Soft Red or Pinot Noir (see note above)
►1 lb mushrooms thickly sliced
►4 large carrots peeled and cut into 1/2 thick pieces
►1 medium yellow onion diced
►4 garlic cloves chopped
►1 Tbsp tomato paste
►4 cups low sodium beef broth or beef stock
►2 bay leaves
►1 tsp dried thyme
►1 lb small potatoes new potatoes, or fingerling, halved or quartered

1 Cream cheese, softened, (8 oz)
1 cup crispy bacon bits, 1/2 cup is for garnish
2 cups Sharp cheddar cheese, 1/2 cup is for garnish
1 tsp Dried rosemary
Salt and Pepper to taste
1/2 cup Green onions for garnish
Cook on High for 3 hrs or Low for 6 hrs
