Add chicken; cook and stir 4 to 6 minutes or until no longer pink. Stir in pepper and onion; cook 1 to 3 minutes. Add sloppy joe sauce. Cook over medium heat about 8 to 10 minutes; stirring occasionally. Stir in rice; cook until thoroughly heated. Spoon over hamburger buns. This is a very simple Crock-Pot slow cooker recipe for chicken breast sloppy Joes. A package of boneless skinless chicken breasts and two cans of Manwich Sloppy Joe Sauce are all you need. This is a very simple Sloppy Joe Crock-Pot recipe and a nice change from hamburger, or ground beef.
2 Tbsp Olive Oil 2 lbs Ground Chicken 1 Large Onion - diced 3 -4 Cloves Garlic - minced 1/4 C Yellow Mustard 1 C Ketchup 1/2 C Brown Sugar 2 Tbsp Worcestershire Sauce 1 1/2 Tbsp Chili Powder 2 tsp Paprika Salt & Pepper to taste 8 oz Mozzarella Cheese - shredded Buns for serving
In a large skillet heat oil on medium heat, add onions cooking 2 - 3 minutes. Add garlic cooking for 1 - 2 minutes or until fragrant. Add ground chicken, break up into small pieces cooking until no longer pink. Season with salt & pepper. Add in paprika, chili powder, worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, yellow mustard & ketchup. Stir until well combined.
Simmer for 5 minutes. Toss mozzarella cheese over chicken mixture, cover until cheese it melted.
Serve over whole wheat buns or buns of your choice.

Give ground chicken the Sloppy Joe treatment and you'll never miss the beef.
DIRECTIONS
1. In a large skillet over medium heat, heat oil. Add onion and cook until tender, 6 minutes, then add garlic and cook 1 minute. Add ground chicken and cook until no longer pink, about 6 minutes more.
2. Stir ketchup, brown sugar, mustard, chili powder, and Worcestershire and season with salt and pepper. Simmer until thick and saucy, 5 minutes.
3. Top with mozzarella and cover with lid to melt, 2 minutes.
4. Serve on buns.
