How To make Cherry Pineapple Kugel
1/2 Margarine; melted
1 16 ozs wide noodles; cooked
4 Eggs; beaten
1/2 c Sugar
1 ts Vanilla extract
1 cn Crushed pineapple in juice
20 oz., drained 1 cn Cherry pie filling; 20 oz.
Or 1 Jar Apricot preserves;10 oz
***** topping; ***** 1 c Corn flakes; lightly crushed
1 tb Sugar
1 ts Cinnamon

Lightly grease a 9 X13 baking dish. Preheat oven to 350^F. In a large mixing bowl, combine melted margarine with noodles; toss well to coat. Add eggs, sugar, vanilla and pineapple; mixing well. Pour 1/2 noodle mixture into prepared dish. Spread with either cherry pie filling or apricot preserves*. Cover with remaining noodle mixture. Lightly crush corn flakes and combine with sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle over top of kugel. Dot with margarine. Bake for 40 minutes or until golden. :

300g Roggenmehl
220g Butter
70g Puderzucker
1 Prise Salz
1 Msp. abgeriebene Schale von 1 Zitrone
1 Ei
Belag:
680g Ananasscheiben
50g Zucker
100 Cashewkerne
100g Puderzucker
4 EL Zitronensaft
Zubereitung:
Das Roggenmehl mit Butterstücken, Puderzucker, Salz, Zitronenschale und dem Ei verkneten. Zu einer Kugel formen und in Klarsichtfolie wickeln. 1 Stunde kühl stellen.
Die Ananasscheiben abtropfen lassen und mit Zucker bestreuen. Die Cashewkerne grob hacken.
Den Teig auf ein mit Backpapier ausgelegtes Backblech verteilen. Die Ananasscheiben draufgeben und mit den gehackten Cashewkernen bestreue. Das Ganze im Backofen bei 180 Grad Umluft ca. 20 Minuten backen.
Den Puderzucker mit Zitronensaft mischen und den leicht ausgekühlten Kuchen damit bestreichen.

Sweet Fruit Noodle Kugel (Pudding)
Sweet Fruit Noodle Pudding (Kugel) from Rochelle’s Kosher Kitchen.
This is just the start of my holiday cooking and sharing my family favorite recipes with you. First off, during the holiday Rosh Hashanah, you will hear people greet each other with the phrase: “Shana Tova” or “Shana Tova U'Metukah”, meaning: “A good year” or “A good and sweet year.” The sweet foods that we eat during Rosh Hashanah are therefore meant to symbolize the hope for a sweet and happy year ahead. Join me and make this wonderful, delicious sweet fruit noodle kugel that has been a family tradition in my mom’s, my grandmothers and now your holiday kitchen.
This kugel (pudding) freezes well and can be made ahead of time. Just wrap the extra parchment paper over the kugel and cover with foil, label it and freeze. Defrost - heat and serve.
Ingredients
12 Oz of find egg noodles
2 Tablespoons of sugar
2 - 14.5 oz can of Fruit Cocktail - including the juice - use 2 cans with the syrup
3 eggs beaten
1 teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
½ teaspoon of nutmeg
1 Can of Pineapple slices
⅓ cup of brown sugar
6 maraschino cherries
Optional - 1 cup of white seedless raisins
Method
Cook Noodles 15 minutes, drain and set aside to cool.
In a mixing bowl add:
Sugar, fruit cocktail (& syrup), beaten eggs, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg - Mix
Add the noodles and mix well
Prepare the Baking Pan
Use a 9 x 12 baking dish, preheat oven to 375 degrees
Line Baking pan with parchment paper - Grease the parchment paper
Layout out the 6 slices of pineapple
Sprinkle with Brown Sugar
Place a maraschino cherry into each pineapple hole.
Pour Noodle Mixture on top of the Pineapples
Place in oven for 1 hour at 375 degrees
Prepare to flip when you are ready to serve onto your serving platter.
