Crisco single crust/10 inch Cream layer: 2/3 c Granulated sugar
1/4 c Cornstarch
1/4 ts Salt
2 c Half-and-half cream
1 c Milk
3 Egg yolks; lightly beaten
1 tb Golden crisco shortening
1/2 ts Almond extract
Filling: 1 cn Pitted red tart cherries
= in water/14 oz 1/2 c Reserved cherry liquid
2/3 c Granulated sugar
2 tb Cornstarch
2 tb All-purpose flour
A pinch salt 1 tb Amaretto liqueur
1 ts Red food color (optional)
1/2 ts Fresh lemon juice
1/2 ts Vinegar
1 tb Golden crisco shortening
Topping: 1 1/2 ts Unflavored gelatin
2 tb Plus 2 tsp water
1 1/2 c Whipping cream
6 tb Icing sugar
1 ts Almond extract
1 1/4 oz White chocolate bar

Ingredients Used
1 Duncan Hines French Vanilla box cake mix
1 pk 3.4oz French vanilla instant pudding mix
4 large eggs @ room temperature
2/3 cup melted butter @room temperature or simply use same quality as box instructions (1/3 cup)
1 cup buttermilk (room temp)
1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract
1/2 tsp pure lemon extract
Mix and Bake per box instructions.

Recipe: Cherry Pina Colada Pops
These sweet vegan popsicles are a must-try this summer. They might be low in fat and calories, but they’re 100% deliciously refreshing. Get the recipe here:
Cherry Pina Colada Pops
Prep time: 15 min.
Freezing time: 4 to 6 hr.
Total time: 6 hr., 15 min.
Yield: 10 pops
1 cup (250 mL) roughly chopped fresh pineapple
1 can (520 mL) coconut water
3 tbsp (45 mL) sugar
1 tbsp (15 mL) lime juice
1/2 cup (125 mL) halved ground cherries (also known as physalis or cape gooseberries)
Directions:
1. Place pineapple in food processor, pulse until finely chopped. Pour into bowl and stir in coconut water, sugar and lime juice. Let stand for about 5 min. or until sugar dissolves.
2. Divide halved cherries among ten 1/3-cup (75-mL) ice pop moulds. Pour pineapple mixture evenly into each mould. Freeze for 4 to 6 hr., or until firm.
Tip: Substitute ground cherries with pitted and halved Rainier cherries, if desired.
