How To make Caribbean Pasta with Shrimp
1 1/2 lb Raw medium shrimp
4 Cloves garlic, finely minced
1/4 c Minced shallots
1 T Finely minced ginger
3 T Flavorless cooking oil
8 oz Your favorite pasta
1/2 c Cilantro sprigs
1 Green bell pepper, seeded
And chopped 1 1/2 c Seeded, chopped ripe tomatos
2 t Curry powder
1/2 t Allspice berries, finely
Crushed 1/2 c Chicken stock
1/4 c Grand Marnier
2 T Thin soy sauce
1 T Light brown sugar
2 t Corn starch
1 t Caribbean or asian chile
Sauce Advance preparation: Shell, devein and split the shrimp lengthwise nearly in half, then refrigerate. In a small bowl, combine the garlic, shallots, ginger and oil. In separate containers, set aside the pasta and cilantro, In a small bowl, combine all the ingredients for the sauce, then refrigerate. Advance prep. can be done up to 8 hours before you begin. Final cooking steps: Chop the cilantro. Bring 4 quarts of water to a rapid boil. Lightly salt the water; then cook the pasta according to instructions. When the pasta lose4s its rax texture but is still firm, remove from heat and drain. Meanwhile, place a 12 or 14 inch saute pan over high heat. When hot, add the garlic-oil mixture. Saute until the garlic begins to sizzle but has not browned. Stir the sauce, then pour into the saute pan. Bring the sauce to a rapid boil and cook until it begins to thicken, about 3 minutes. Stir in the shrimp. Stir and toss the shrimp until they turn pink and have just lost their raw interior, about 2 minutes. Immediately add the pasta. Stir and toss until evenly combined and well heated. Taste and adjust the seasonings, especially for salt. Transfer the pasta to a heated platter . Sprinkle on the cilantro and serve at once.

Ingredients List

500g - 1kg jumbo shrimp
300g penne pasta
1/2 Red and Green bell pepper
3 garlic cloves minced
Parsely to garnish
2 spring onions chopped
1 tbs oil to fry shrimp
1 tbs oil to sauté veggies
To season shrimp
—————————
1 tbs jerk seasoning
1 tsp old bay (can use all purpose seasoning)
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tsp green seasoning
1/2 tsp salt
For Sauce
——————
2 cups double cream
1 1/2 - 2 cups grated cheese
1 tsp jerk seasoning (optional)
1 tsp old bay
1/2 tsp black pepper
2 tsp paprika
1 tsp all purpose seasoning

Rasta Pasta | The Golden Balance
Rasta Pasta
Ingredients:
1 lb chicken
1 lb shrimp
1 lb pasta of choice
⅓ cup heavy cream
½ cup parmesan cheese
¼ cup pasta water
3 tablespoons jerk marinade
3 teaspoons jerk seasoning
3 teaspoons salt
1 red bell pepper
1 jalapeno
1 onion
Garnish: cilantro
Directions:
Season the chicken with 1 tablespoon of jerk marinade, 1 teaspoon of seasoning, and 1 teaspoon of salt
Season the shrimp with the exact same thing
Cook the shrimp, then the chicken making sure to leave the fond
Toss in the vegetables to the pan with the rest of the seasoning
Deglaze the pan with some pasta water
Add the heavy cream and cheese
Add the cooked pasta and the proteins
Give everything a good mix and add some more cheese for good measure
Garnish with a few cilantro leaves, say bismillah, and enjoy!

Today, I'm sharing this EASY, QUICK & DELICIOUS shrimp rasta pasta recipe with you guys! This is MY PERSONAL rasta pasta recipe, as there are countless variations. I hope you guys try it & enjoy it! Xo
INGREDIENTS:
SHRIMP
- 1 lb medium shrimp, peeled & deveined
- 1/2 tbsp seasoned salt
-1/2 tbsp garlic salt
-1/2 tbsp parsley flakes
-a pinch of black pepper
-1 tbsp jerk seasoning (mild or hot)
-2 tbsp olive oil
PASTA
- 3 cups penne pasta
- 4 cups of water
-1 tbsp salt
VEGGIES
- 1 medium red bell pepper, julienned
-1 medium green bell pepper, julienned
-1 medium yellow bell pepper, julienned
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
-1 tbsp olive oil (for sauteeing)
SAUCE:
-1 1/2 cups Half & Half (or heavy whipping cream)
- 1 cup Alfredo sauce
- 1 cup Mexican style four cheese
****Sprinkle a pinch of seasoned salt, garlic salt, black pepper, parsley flakes & 1 tsp of jerk seasoning to pasta for added flavor****
Disclaimer: I know that many people add coconut milk, onions and the popular Knorr Parma Rosa sauce mix to theirs, but this is how I usually make mine. Switch things up & add whatever you feel like adding to make it delicious, fun, & most importantly YOURS! xo

JERK CHICKEN RASTA PASTA RECIPE| How To Make Pasta |
Ingredients:
*
* 12-15 Colossal shrimp
* 1/2 Ib penne pasta shells
* 1 1/2 Tbsp, olive oil
* 1/2 green bell pepper,sliced
* 1/2 red bell pepper, sliced
* 1/2 orange bell pepper, sliced
* 3 Tsp, garlic-minced
* 2 stalks, scallions-chopped
* 4 cups,Heavy cream
* 5 Tsp, walkers-wood or Grace mild or hot Jerk seasoning mix or make your own.
* 1/4 - 1/2 cup, mozzarella cheese (add more for a thicker sauce)
* 1 Tsp, garlic powder
* 1 Tsp, onion powder
* 2 Tsp, paprika powder
* 1 packet, Sazon seasoning (OPT)
* 1 Tsp, old bay seasoning
* Pinch of black pepper and salt to taste if needed
