2 Tbsp. butter or oleo 1/4 firmly packed brown sugar 1 Tbsp. grated lemon rind 1 Tbsp. lemon juice 1 Dash cinnamon 1 Dash nutmeg 3 Medium sized firm bananas Melt butter or oleo in a heavy skillet. Add brown sugar, lemon rind, lemon juice, cinnamon and nutmeg; cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until bubbly. Peel bananas and slice in half length-wise. Place bananas in skillet, cook over low heat 2 to 3 minutes, turning once. Serve warm. Makes 6 servings.
