How To make Broiled Cheddar Olive
2 ea Eggs
lg
8 oz Cheddar :
sharp, grated
1 1/4 c Olives ripe,chopped, pitted
1/2 c Green bell pepper :
chopped
1/4 c Onion chopped
1/3 c Catsup
2 ts Mayonnaise
2 ts Mustard :
prepared
1/4 ts Marjoram
1/8 ts Oregano
1/8 ts Salt
1 pn Pepper -- to taste
4 ea Sandwich buns
1 x Butter
Hard cook the eggs and slice them into a medium-sized bowl. Grate the cheddar and put into the bowl. Prepare and add the olives, green pepper and onion. Blend together the catsup, mayonnaise and prepared mustard and the spices (blend them together in a small cup or bowl). Add the mixture to the cheese mixture and set aside. Set the oven to broil and split the buns (if not already split) with a sharp knife. Set the buns on the broiler rack, cut sides up, and broil with the buns 2 inches from the heat source until golden brown. Remove the buns from the oven and spread with butter. Spread about 1/8 of the cheddar mixture on a buttered side of each bun and return to the broiler with the tops of the sandwiches 3-inches from the heat source. Broil until the cheddar is bubbly and serve right from the oven.

Ingredients:
1 3/4 cups all purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
1 tablespoon baking powder
5 tablespoons olive oil
1 cup milk
1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese
Preheat an oven to 450°F
In a medium bowl, combine the flour, salt and baking powder. Add the olive oil, milk and cheese to the flour mixture. Stir until just combined. Drop the dough on the baking sheet in roughly 1/4 cup portions. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly browned.
Note : Makes 12 biscuits

Olivari Bacon Cheddar Cornbread
This savory olive oil cornbread is a comfort food classic that’s a welcoming side dish to any feast, be it big or small.

Ingredients:
1/3 cup Olivari Extra Virgin Olive Oil, divided
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 cup finely ground cornmeal
1/3 cup granulated sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp each salt and pepper
2 eggs
1 cup buttermilk
1/2 cup shredded aged Cheddar cheese
4 strips bacon, cooked and crumbled
2 green onions, thinly sliced
1 tbsp finely chopped fresh chives
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 425°F. In large bowl, whisk together flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt and pepper until well combined.
2. In separate bowl, whisk together eggs, buttermilk and 1/4 cup olive oil until blended; stir into flour mixture just until moistened. Fold in cheese, bacon, green onions and chives.
3. Meanwhile, heat remaining oil in 9-inch cast iron skillet pan set over medium heat. Scrape batter into prepared pan and smooth top.
4. Transfer to oven. Bake for 15 to 18 minutes or until golden brown and cornbread springs back when touched lightly in center. Transfer to rack; let cool completely or serve warm.
Tips:
• You can substitute milk mixed with 1 tbsp lemon juice for buttermilk. Let stand for 15 minutes before using.
• Substitute Monterey Jack for Cheddar cheese if desired.
• For a spicy twist, fold 1 seeded and minced jalapeño pepper into the batter.

Melty Cheddar Olive Canapés are one of my favorite hors d'oeuvres that my mom, an excellent cook and awesome hostess, taught me to make. They've been a favorite in my family since I was little. If you're having company or need to bring an appetizer or snack to an event, Melty Cheddar Olive Canapes are perfect! They've always been a hit at any party I've brought them to! The canapes contain cheddar cheese, black olives, scallions, mayonnaise, curry and melba rounds. They're melty and delicious!
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 cup black olives , chopped
- 1 bunch chopped scallions (around 1/2 cup)
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 3/4 teaspoon curry powder
- 1 box melba rounds
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Pulse olives in food processor until chopped.
2. Mix cheese, olives, scallions, mayonnaise and curry powder together.
3. Spread a heaping teaspoonful of cheese mixture onto each melba round. Place each canapé on a cookie sheet.
4. Bake at 350°F for 15-20 minutes, or until cheese is melty and bubbly. Cool on cooling rack.
