How To make Brigitte's Red Cabbage
1 sm Head of red cabbage
1 md Apple
1 sm Onion
3 sl Bacon
1 ts Vinegar
1 ts Sugar
"Shred cabbage finely. Fry bacon until crisp, saute the chopped onion in the bacon grease. Add cabbage and peeled, cubed apple and crumbled bacon. Fill up with water until the cabbage is well covered. Cook until soft and then season with vinegar and sugar to taste. Add salt to taste. This can be warmed up again and again, and it gets better the more it is warmed up."

Learn how to make super healthy, easy and boasting with flavor cauliflower fried rice that is Specific Carbohydrate Diet friendly. This healthy alternative to the common Fried Rice is, ... dare I say it, better than the real thing. This recipe is also Gluten Free and KETO friendly. Or if you are looking to cut down on calories, this is a fantastic substitute for rice.
The conventional fried rice can be used as a main meal or a side dish complementing your main dish. I personally like to eat mine as a main meal so I jam-pack it with lots of vegetable.
SCD CAULIFLOWER FRIED RICE RECIPE:
2-cups diced cauliflower, frozen or fresh
3/4-cup cook shrimp
1/2-cup shredded red cabbage
1/2 cup thawed green peas
1/2 cup diced broccoli
1/2 cup diced & peeled carrots
1/3 cup thinly diced red onion
1/3 cup diced fresh mushroom
1 glove of garlic
1 tsp. of curry powder
1/2 tbsp. sesame oil
Pink Himalayan salt, to taste
Fresh ground black pepper, to taste

Zoodle Recipe
I eat a lot of delicious salads ???? with sprouts ???? and a small myriad of vegetables ???? ???? ???? . But this week I'm eating two similar but different Zoodle dishes ???? and I'm excited to bring these recipes ???????? back to my palate. These are wonderful, healthy???? vibrant dishes ???? and I'm excited to share them with you ????☀️????.
For those who aren't familiar with Zoodles ???? they are are a nickname for zucchini noodles, or spaghetti-like strands made from spiralized, raw zucchini and other squash. They contain no flour or wheat ???? whatsoever like in regular pasta and are very low in calories and carbs. I prefer the extra small angel hair zoodles and bought a special attachment to my food processor to make angel hair or ribbon zoodles ????
While it is possible to find pre-made zoodles in some grocery stores, I totally prefer to make them fresh at home, especially considering they only take just a few minutes ⏰ to prepare. I also buy fresh Zucchini which is now in season in South FLorida, yay‼️ I try to take advantage of eating local and fresh without pesticides from farmers ???????? as much as possible.

Asian Zoodle Salad with Vegan Miso Dressing ????????????☀️????????
INGREDIENTS
???? 2 medium zucchinis
???? Wedge of red cabbage, shredded thinly
???? Handful of lettuce leaves
???? 1 ripe nectarine, sliced thinly
???? 1 small cucumber, sliced thinly
???? 1 large spring onion, green part only, sliced
???? fresh coriander and / or mint leaves / cilantro
???? 2 handfuls of pan roasted peanuts (or cashews), crushed (I don't add them but it does make it more delicious if you do)
???? 2 tsp black sesame seeds, for decoration (optional)
MISO DRESSING
???? 3 tbsp white miso paste (shiro miso paste)
???? 2 tbsp mirin
???? 2 tbsp rice wine vinegar
???? 2 tsp finely grated ginger
???? 1 small garlic clove, grated
???? 1 tbsp maple syrup
???? 2 tsp Sriracha or other chilli sauce (optional)
???? 2 tbsp untoasted sesame oil or other mild tasting oil
PREPARATION STEPS
1. Mix all the dressing ingredients together in a small bowl. Add a splash of water (about a tablespoon) to achieve a pourable consistency.
2. Turn zucchini flesh into zoodles using a julienne peeler, a spiralizer or a regular speed food processor with a special attachment for zoodles (my choice).
3. Add Miso dressing to Zoodles
4. Grab a large plate or bowl. Place lettuce leaves on first, scatter zoodles and shredded cabbage on top. Place cucumber and nectarine slices on top. Scatter spring onion greens on last.
4. Finally scatter fresh herbs, crushed nuts and black sesame seeds on top. Consume straight away.
The 2nd recipe as shown in the video is the exact same ingredients except made with PESTO topping the Zoodles ENJOY ???? ❤️????
