Tender Braised Chicken - Braised Whole Chicken with Ginger Recipes - Bodian Life
Braised Chicken With Ginger - deeply-sweet flavours with fragrance of the ginger. That's so delicious, let's go to the kitchen and learn how to delicious braised chicken for tonight table.
▶ Ingredients :
● 1.30 kg/ 1 whole, Chicken
● 200 g, Ginger
● 6 cloves, Garlic
● 1 bulb, Shallot
● 150 g, Palm Sugar/ Sugar
● 1/2 tbsp, Salt
● 1 liter, Water
● 1 tsp, Monosodium glutamate (MSG)- Optional
Method :
1. Trim off the chicken into medium pieces. Crush/ mince the garlic. Cut the shallot into 4 equal segments.
2. Peel the ginger skin by the spoon or knife, then cut them into thinly slices. Soak in the water and then add the salt for 5 minutes to remove the spiciness. Drain off the water.
3. Heat up the oil in the pan, add the ginger and fry until golden, about 3 minutes. then drain off and set aside.
4. Heat up the oil, over low heat and stir quickly until the sugar is completely brown, about 5-7 minutes.
5. Add the garlic, shallot, salt, MSG (optional). Add the chicken and stir until the chicken is brown and dries, about 5-10 minutes.
6. Add the fried ginger and water. Simmer until the chicken is tender, about 20-30 minutes.
7. Serve with steamed jasmine rice and Enjoy your meal !

Braised Chicken in Beer Sauce with smoked ham and mushrooms
A beautiful and tasty chicken dish, braised using beer. You can make this dish with your favourite beer, from blond or golden ale to stouts or any dark alse. The taste will be slightly different depending what beer you choose but all delicious.
I used smoked ham, but bacon works equally well. Try and buy the smaller white button mushrooms, if you can’t find them, simply dice them up.
Make sure you use the chicken thighs on the bone, makes all the difference keeping it juicy and more flavoursome.

This was my very own creation. I have never thought it'll workout nor tasty. Sorry to be my guinea pigs, boys. The first sight of the chicken was damn ugly and pathetic just like the sacrifices of some kind of cult.
I always wonder how did the Youtuber do it so amazingly? Wonder their food is fully cooked though.... My food will turn colour and at times broken into pieces when trying to 'decorate' and taking the best shots ????. They should be called PROtuber and I'm the Amateur.ber????..... nice name though????. I just loved you both dearly when you both said food doesn't have to be looking-good as long as it's delicious and edible.
That night Gor Gor even had his second servings for this flavourful and scrumptious dish. He seldom does that when it comes to steam food. You can tell the food was very good ????.

Steam Chicken with Bacon Mushrooms and Chinese Herbs
培根香菇药材蒸雞
Ingredient:
1 whole chicken
Step 1:
Ingredients for soup/ sauce in pressure cooker stew for 13mins:
2 pcs dried scallops
8 pcs Dried mushrooms
3 pcs of red dates
10g Polygonatum
200g of Bacon
Tiny bit of Chinese Angelica
10g wolfberries
Small pcs of dried abalone
60ml water
2 bowls of reserved mushrooms water
1/2 Chicken cube
1/2 tsp salt
1Tbsp Shaoxing Wine /15ml
Step 2 (** Dissolve them in the pressure cooker while it's still warm):
Extra seasoning:-
1 tbsp oyster sauce
2 small pieces of rock sugar
1 teaspoon soy sauce
Few dashes of white pepper
** Let the above mixture cool before marinating the chicken! The longer the marinade (more than 4hrs) the better the tastes gonna be.

高壓鍋湯料/醬料焖13分鐘 :
2片乾貝
8朵乾香菇
紅棗3粒
玉竹10g
200克培根
當歸一點點
10克枸杞
小片鮑魚乾
60毫升水
2碗保留的蘑菇水
1/2 雞塊
1/2 茶匙鹽
Sw1湯匙紹興酒/15ml
第 2步驟(**趁熱將它們溶解在高壓鍋里 ):
額外的調味料:-
1湯匙蠔油
2小塊冰糖
1茶匙醬油
幾滴白胡椒
** 在醃製雞肉之前,讓上述混合物冷卻!醃料時間越長(多过 4 小時),味道就會越香。
