4 ts Cornstarch
1 c Blueberries; thawed or fresh
Recipe by: The New McDougall Cookbook Preparation Time: 0:05 Place the juice in a saucepan with the cornstarch. Cook, stirring until thickened. Add the blueberries. Heat through. Serve warm. 66 calories, 0.2 grams fat per 1/2 cup serving.

Ingredients:
1 cup fresh blueberries
1 lemon; juiced and zested
2-3 tbsp honey
2 tbsp water + 1 tsp cornstarch
Preparation:
-wash your fresh blueberries
-add to a small pot and place over medium heat
-add lemon juice and honey and bring to a simmer, stirring occasionally
-stir more frequently once berries start to burst and release their juices
-cook until they break down, about 5-10 min or until slightly reduced
-start to smash a few on the side of the pot then add your cornstarch slurry
-stir until thickened to your liking, stir in lemon zest & remove form the heat
-serve on top of pancakes or French toast
-store in a glass airtight container
