Homemade Hot Tofu with ginger syrup & palm sugar
Easy & very yummy
????Ingredients
200 grams of soybeans, 1600 ML of water
???? How to do it
Soak soybeans for 6-8 hours
- remove skin of soya bean ( use the silicone piece for faster, please check video)
- You don’t have to remove skin of soya bean if you don’t want too, only difference is the tofu won’t look as white as the others
Divide into two batches to grind
Put in 700 ML of water at a time, puree it, then pass it through a towel to get clear water
Continue to grind for the second time
Then take out the clean foam and put it back in the pot and add 200 ML to make 1600 ML of 200g soybeans
Add a few pieces of pandan leaves, turn on medium heat and stir well
Until you see a lot of smoke evaporating and if necessary stop to see if the beans are slightly boiling , turn off the heat, remove the foam and close the lid.
Mix the tofu coagulant
Use a 1/4 teaspoon to measure the amount
Scoop 3 times of tofu coagulant ( using 1/4 teaspoon measuring)
Add 4 times of water (use 1/4 teaspoon measurement)
Stir well then put in a bowl, do not let glucose exceed 5 minutes after mixing
Turn around the pot with glucose mixed
Add soybean milk straight , fast to the pot without hesitate
Cover with towel before closing the lid
Place in one place and do not move until soybean milk slightly freeze
To fu will be lightly freeze after 45 minutes
???? ginger and palm sugar syrup
The sweetness depends on family taste, add palm sugar, Add sliced ginger and put in a few pieces of pandan leaves
Bring to a boil, then let it simmer, and check sweetness to your own taste
Ladle the hot tofu into a bowl and serve with ginger and palm sugar syrup
