This simple homemade stuffing recipe is perfect for Sunday dinner or Thanksgiving or anytime of the year, pair it with chicken, turkey, or pork. Print the recipe:
Hey y'all! I'm back to show you a simple, delicious homemade stuffing recipe. Everyone loves stuffing, right?! It's the perfect side dish for holidays or family dinners. This easy homemade stuffing recipe is quick and easy. It starts off with a loaf of french bread, cubed and toasted. Next, sauteed-until-tender veggies (you can use your favorite aromatic veggies in this recipe - it's completely up to you!). Combine your toasted bread, veggies, some delicious seasonings, and chicken stock, and this stuffing casserole is ready to bake. Pop that baby in a 350 degree oven for 45-50 minutes, and your mouth-watering Sunday Dinner stuffing recipe is ready to go.
What do you serve homemade bread dressing with? Well, the possibilities are endless, but my personal faves are pork chops or chicken! 0:11 - Slice and cube a loaf of French bread.
0:36 - Spray a sheet pan with nonstick cooking spray.
0:43 - Place the bread cubes onto the sheet pan.
0:50 - Toast the bread.
0:53 - Dice the vegetables.
1:25 - Add bacon fat to a pan.
1:36 - Add the vegetables (except the garlic) to the pan.
1:46 - Cook until translucent.
2:00 - Season with salt and pepper.
2:12 - Add in the garlic.
2:20 - Cook another two minutes.
2:28 - Place the toasted bread into a mixing bowl.
2:39 - Pour in chicken broth.
2:48 - Sprinkle in some seasonings.
2:56 - Add in an egg.
3:00 - Add in the cooked vegetables.
3:08 - Mix well.
3:13 - Spray a baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
3:15 - Transfer the bread mixture to the baking dish.
3:19 - Even out the bread mixture.
3:48 - Bake until cooked through.
3:56 - Add a bit of parsley for color.

Homemade Thanksgiving Stuffing - The Easiest Recipe!
The best Thanksgiving stuffing you will ever have! Full of texture and flavor, a real showstopper!

STUFFING INGREDIENTS:
1-1/2 lb of Crusty Bread such as sourdough, torn into bite size pieces and dried at room temperature overnight
1 lb of Italian Sausage, casing removed
2 Leeks, trimmed, finely chopped and very well cleaned
4 Stalks of Celery, finely diced
4 Tbsp of Unsalted Butter
About 2 Tbsp of Olive Oil
1 Sprig of Rosemary, very finely chopped
Few Sprigs of Thyme, chopped
1 cup of Dry White Wine or a Light Lager
2 cups of Chicken Stock
2 Eggs
Salt and Pepper to taste
4 Tbsp of Finely Chopped Parsley

Classic Stuffing
1 crusty French loaf, cut into ½” cubes
½ cup butter
1 yellow onion, finely diced
3 celery ribs, finely diced
2-3 cups chicken broth
¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
1 tbsp thyme leaves
1 tbsp fresh sage, chopped
2 eggs, beaten
salt and pepper
Allow bread cubes to dry out overnight or bake it at 200°F for an hour, tossing it every 15 minutes. In a large skillet melt butter over medium-high heat. Add onion and celery and sauté for 4-5 minutes or until they begin to soften. Add chicken broth, parsley, thyme and sage. Simmer for 3 minutes. Turn off heat and stir in bread cubes until they are well coated. Add beaten eggs and stir well. Pour stuffing into a well-greased baking dish and cover with aluminum foil. Bake at 375°F for about 30.
