How to Make a Frozen Banana Daiquiri | Summer Cocktail Recipes
Is the Banana Daiquiri better than a Strawberry Daiquiri? Let's find out!
This is summer cocktail number 4 of the Summer cocktail series, as we adventure with Creme de Bananes for the first time to use this banana liqueur. This is the banana variation of the famous Daiquiri.
Banana Daiquiri Recipe (Ingredients):
- 60ml (2oz) Gold Rum
- 30ml (1oz) Crème de Bananas
- 15ml (0.5oz) Lime juice
- Slices of Banana between 5-8
- 1 tablespoon of caster sugar
- 400ml of crushed ice not 200ml as I found out.
- Slice of banana for a garnish.
How to make (Method):
1. Add ingredients to the blender.
2. Blend for 30 seconds. Add more ice if necessary.
3. Strain into a Hurricane glass.
4. Garnish with a slice of Banana.
It is a refreshing cocktail with a tanginess mixed in with sweetness. The biggest tasting note is of course from the banana. This is the Frozen Banana Daiquiri. Give me your thoughts on it? What is your favourite variation of the Daiquiri?

Frozen Curry-Banana Daiquiri | Recipe | Food & Wine
Embrace the curry in this frozen drink from Liam Odien at The Corner Door in Culver City, California; it adds subtle intrigue without going too far into savory territory. Fresh, ripe banana and rum fill out the base notes without getting too sweetly rich. This recipe calls for Atlántico rum, but any rich dark rum will work well—Diplomático Reserva Exclusiva or Bacardí Reserva Ocho are also delicious. Whichever rum you choose, be sure to store it in the freezer to help keep the drink slushy.

HOW TO MAKE A BANANA DAIQUIRI and Bartender HARRY YEE turns 101!!!
Today is a very special day. Legendary Bartender, Harry Yee turns 101! 101!!! For those of you not familiar with Harry, he's the inventor of many classic cocktails like the Tropical Itch, Hawaiian Eye and perhaps his most famous - The Blue Hawaii. He's also credited as the creator of the Banana Daiquiri. There are other bartenders that also take claim to this one, but we're pretty sure it was Harry. If you've been following the show over the past few years I've had the honor of striking up a relationship with his family. Harry's daughter Marilyn has been a great help to us here at the show and a great supporter of what we do. Thank you, Marilyn.
So let's raise a glass and give a toast to Harry Yee. Happy Birthday sir!
