How To make Banana Almond Torte

Separated keep at room tempe 1 1/3 c Sugar
3 tb Lemon juice
1 tb Grated orange rind
4 Very ripe bananas,
Mashed (about 1 1/3 cups) 1 c Matzah cake meal
1 c Coarsely ground almonds
1 ts Salt
In a large bowl, with an electric mixer beat the yolks and they are thick and pale. Gradually add the sugar, beating until the mixture is very thick. Beat in the lemon juice and the rind, add the bananas, the matzah cake meal, the almonds and the salt and beat the mixture until it is combined well. In a clean dry bowl, with clean dry beater beat the whites until they just hold stiff peaks, stir 1 cup of them into the banana mixture and fold in the remaining whites gently but thoroughly, Pour the batter into an ungreased 9" tube pan (3 1/2" deep) with a removable bottom and bake the torte in the middle of a preheated 350 oven for 55-60 minutes, or until a tester comes out clean. Invert the pan over the neck of a bottle and let the torte cool upside down. Run a thin knife around the edge and tube of the pan and remove the side of the pan. Run the knife under the bottom of the torte to release it and transfer the torte carefully with 2 spatulas to a serving plate. I hope you enjoy this as much as I have. 250 grams of Almond Flour (2 c)
2 tsp Baking Powder
1/2 tsp Sea Salt
3 ripe medium Bananas
3 medium Eggs
1 Tbsp Coconut Sugar (optional)
50g of walnut kernels (optional)
10g of chopped walnut kernels to sprinkle on top (optional)

Ingredients
* 2 1/2 cups almond flour (200g)
* 1-2 tbsp honey OR maple syrup
* 1 tsp baking powder
* 1/4 tsp salt
* 2 large ripe bananas (200g)
* 2 eggs
* 1/2 cup soft butter (113g) OR coconut oil
* Almond flakes or chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350F/180C. Prepare a 9x5 inch (or 8x4 inch) loaf pan by lining it with parchment paper.
2. In a large bowl mash the bananas with a potato masher or fork until smooth.
3. Add honey, soft butter, salt, baking powder and whisk until well combined.
4. Add eggs and whisk again.
5. Now add the almond flour. Stir until combined.
6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Smooth out the top and topping with more almond flakes/chocolate chips (optional)
7. Bake the loaf for about 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean from the center.
8. Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes, before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
9. Slice and enjoy.

Lemon Coconut Almond Cake (SUPER EASY)
