The One Rise Whole Wheat Bread - 3 Ingredients

RECIPE:
THREE INGREDIENT, ONE-RISE WHOLE WHEAT BREAD
You’ll not believe how easy this recipe is. You’ll want to make this loaf over and over again.
INGREDIENTS
4 ½ cups whole wheat flour (450 grams, or 1 lb)
1 3/4 to 2 cups very warm water
1 teaspoon salt
2 ½ teaspoons dry instant yeast (or quick rise)
(Optional: 1 teaspoon sugar)
HOW TO MAKE:
In a large measuring cup, sprinkle the yeast over the warm water. If you are going to add sugar, add it at this time. Stir well to dissolve the yeast. Set aside for approximately 5-10 minutes to activate the yeast.
In a large bowl, add the whole wheat flour and salt. Combine.
Once the yeast is proved, add it to the flour. Stir all to make sure the flour has absorbed the water. If the mixture is a bit too wet, add a little flour. If it’s too dry, add a little bit of water. With your hand gently turn the mixture over to mix it all together.
Place the dough on a floured surface. Briefly pull the dough into a ball and the flatten it out into a rectangular shape and roll it together to create a loaf shape. Into a greased 8” x 5” loaf pan, add the dough. Lightly cover with plastic wrap and allow to rise to just above the rim of the loaf pan (approximately 35-40 minutes.)
In the meantime, set your oven at 400 degrees. The oven rack should be in the middle position.
Once the bread has risen, place it in the oven. Bake for 40 minutes, until golden brown and it sounds hollow on the bottom of the loaf if you tap it with your knuckles. If you have a kitchen thermometer, the temp should be around 120 degrees.
Place bread on a cooling rack for 5 minutes. Remove it from the pan and allow to cool for about 30 minutes before attempting to slice it. DELICIOUS!!

Foolproof Banana Muffins (Makes 12 cupcake size muffins)
Prep Time:
12~15 min
Bake Time:
~20 min
Temperature: 350F
Dry Ingredients:
★ 1-1/2 + 1/8 cup all purpose flour
★ 1/4 cup wheat germ
★ 1 tsp baking soda
★ 1 tsp baking powder
★ 1 tsp cinnamon
★ 1/2 tsp salt
Wet ingredients:
★ 3 bananas (medium size)
★ 1 egg
★ 1/4 cup brown sugar
★ 1/4 cup white sugar
★ 1 tsp vanilla extract
★ Toppings or fillings can add:
★ chocolate chips
★ dried fruits (cranberry, blueberry, raisin, etc)
★ dried nuts (walnuts, cashews, almonds, etc)
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350F, line 12 cupcakes in cupcake mould.
In a bowl, mix together all dry ingredients (flour, wheat germ, baking soda, baking powder, salt) with a whisk.
In another bowl, mash bananas. Add in the wet ingredients (egg, sugar, vanilla extract). Mix with a whisk until sugar is dissolved.
Pour wet batter into dry ingredients bowl. Fold together with a spatula.
Scoop into cupcake pan. Fill approximately 2/3 full for each cupcake.
Add desired toppings.
Bake for 20 minutes at 350F or until toothpick comes out clean.

Wheat Germ Banana Muffin
1 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1 cup wheat germ
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 cup sunflower oil

Ingredients:
all-purpose flour 200g
salt 1.5g/¼tsp
warm water 120ml
olive oil 15ml/1tbsp
banana 4
white sugar (optional)
Recipe:

200g all-purpose flour
1.5g salt
Mix well
120ml warm water
15ml olive oil
Knead the dough
Cover and rest for 20 minutes
After 20 minutes
Divide into 4 parts
Shape each piece into a ball
A bit of oil
Coat the dough with oil and place in the bowl
Repeat
Cover and rest for at least 2 hours
After 2 hours
Pour some oil on a kneading board
Take a piece of dough
Flatten the dough
Flatten the dough more with a rolling pin
Stretch the sides of the dough
Cut off the edges to make the sides straight
4 ripe bananas
Slice the bananas
Place the banana slices on the dough
Wrap the banana slices with the dough
Olive oil or butter
Place in the frying pan
Brush some oil on the dough
Flip over when the first side is golden brown
Continue to fry until both sides are golden brown
Done!
Sprinkle some white sugar (optional)
Repeat the same steps

Healthy Banana Bread
My version of healthy banana bread is not as moist. My family and I personally like a solid banana bread, not mushy and easy to break apart.
Dry ingredients:
4 cups AP Flour
2 tsp baking soda
1/2 salt
1 tbsp wheat germ
1 tbsp green tea powder
1 tbsp ground flaxseed
Wet Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter
2/3 brown sugar
4 eggs
4 banana, overripe, mashed
1/4 cup plain yogurt
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup chocolate chips
1/4 cup unsweetened coconut, shredded
1/3 cup walnut, crushed
