How To make Apricot Liqueur
2 c Smashed apricot pits
1/2 t Ground cinnamon
1/2 t Ground coriander
2 c Vodka 100 proof
1 c Sugar syrup (see recipe)
Partly fill a cloth bag with the apricot pits (available at most health food stores). Smash with a hammer, keeping shells and meaty centers. Place smashed pits in a 1-quart container. Add cinnamon, corriander, and vodka. Store for 2 months in a cool dark place. Then filter through a cheesecloth lined strainer and discard fruit pits. Strain a few times until clear. Add sugar syrup and age for an additional 2 weeks. Recipe may require some finetuning and apricot extract can be added to offer additional flavoring. Yield: 3 cups Containe: Wide mouth liter jar

Apricot liqueur
The recipe for making apricot liqueur is very simple, and I think you will like the result. This liqueur is an excellent base for cocktails, and it can also be added to pastries or desserts!
Ingredients:
Water — 1 Glass,
Sugar — 2 Glasses,
Vodka — 3/4 Cup,
Whiskey — 3/4 Cup (can be replaced with cognac, coffee liqueur or brandy),

APRICOT THREEWAY (3 SIMPLE DRINKS WITH APRICOT LIQUEUR) | ROOFTOP COCKTAIL TIME
Nothing can stop us from teaching you how to use apricot liqueur in your cocktails. Not even a little rain! Not even motion sickness from excessive teleporting!
Today we're making 3 easy and incredible cocktails using this wonderfully versatile stonefruit-based ingredient: the tequila-based Toreador, the Pisco-Apricot Tropicale* and the Hop Toad, which makes great use of funky Jamaican rum.
Personally, I recommend Giffard's apricot brandy for these drinks and really hope you seek it out, though it can be hard to find! Its flavor is unmatched. (Not an ad, I just love the stuff.)

*Lots of recipes for this cocktail involve using pineapple juice or pineapple syrup. While this is definitely delicious too, I prefer this simper version. Try 'em both! :)

APRICOT FLIP - a Creamy Cognac Cocktail!
The Flip is a category of cocktails that incorporate a whole egg as one of it's ingredients. The term 'Flip' was first used in the late 1600s to describe a mixture of beer, rum, and sugar, heated with a red-hot iron.
It has since evolved into a drink that includes a fortified wine or spirit shaken with a whole egg and sweetened with sugar - typically garnished with grated nutmeg.
The Apricot Flip splits the liquor component into both cognac and Apricot brandy liqueur. Featured in The PDT Cocktail Book:

Greek Recipe for Amaretto, Apricot liqueur - Βερίκοκο Λικερ
Amaretto liqueur is a sweet liqueur that originated in Saronno, Italy. Depending on the brand, it may be made from apricot kernels or bitter almonds.
Relatives told me that my mom would make this liqueur, but I just don't recall this.
I hope you enjoy this video.
