Apple Cake That Melts In Your Mouth! Fast and Tasty Apple Walnut Cake Recipe
This soft and moist Apple Cake is packed with fresh apples, cinnamon and walnuts. This recipe is very simple and quick and will appeal to everyone who loves apples and nuts! Make the cake fast and delicious!

???? Apple Walnut Cake Ingredients:
2 Large Eggs
3/4 cup Sugar (150g)
1/2 teaspoon Salt (2g)
6 tablespoons Melted Unsalted Butter (80g)
1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract (4g)
1 cup Milk (200 ml)
1 3/4 cups Flour (300g)
2 teaspoons Baking Powder (10g)
1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon (5g)
3 Medium Chopped Apples
3/4 cup Chopped Walnuts (112g)
1 tablespoon Powdered Sugar (7g)
???? Apple Walnut Cake Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 356F (180C). Line 10 1/2 x 8 1/2 inch cake pan (26 cm x 22 cm) with parchment paper and grease with butter. You can also use 9 inch round cake pan (22.8 cm).
2. In a large mixing bowl, add eggs, sugar and salt. Mix until creamy. Add melted butter, vanilla extract and milk. Mix well. Sift in flour, baking powder and ground cinnamon. Mix until incorporated.
3. Cut, core and chop apples in small pieces. Add into the batter and mix well. Add chopped walnuts and mix.
4. Pour the cake batter into the prepared pan. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until golden brown.
5. Sprinkle with powdered sugar or try it with your favorite topping!

Italian Grandma Makes Apple Walnut Cake
Apple Walnut Cake:
4 cups Rome Apples (peeled & chopped)
1 ½ cups Sugar
1 cup Walnuts (chopped)
3 extra large Eggs
1/4 cup Vegetable Oil
2 tsp Pure Vanilla Extract
2 cups All Purpose Unbleached Flour
2 tsp Cinnamon
1/2 tsp Salt
1 tsp Baking Powder
1 tsp Baking Soda
Baking Dish 9x13 (greased & floured)
Bake at 350F for 50-60 minutes

Who is this lady?
Gina Petitti was born in 1935 in Faeto, Italy. Her family ran a farm in Italy and she met her husband, Vito, in the same town. In 1970 Gina, Vito, and her 4 children immigrated to America. Gina’s husband passed away in 2012, but she is surrounded by a large family, which includes 9 grandchildren, and lives 5 minutes away from her eldest daughter in New Jersey. Gina spends her time cooking, gardening, and being an active member of her local Church.
Where does Gina get her recipes?
Most of these recipes are from what she learned growing up in Italy, but some of them have evolved over time. She has also learned new recipes from friends and family in America. She is always eager to try new things.
Why is no one helping her in the video?
Grandma Gina doesn’t want help! Usually, it’s because we will slow her down or not do it “her way.” For the videos we only show her, but when the camera cuts we jump in and help form the cookies or prep for the next step.
Why don’t we buy her a new...?
Grandma Gina has a closet and garage full of new gadgets, spoons, forks, pots, etc… but she doesn’t like them because she is used to doing it with her old tools. She has fun getting her hands dirty!
Who is behind the camera?
Her retired son-in-law films, her daughter helps her prep, and she usually has one or two grandkids in the kitchen.
Does Gina read the comments?

A DELICIOUS MOIST AND VERY CLASSY DESSERT..????
INGREDIENTS:
2 MEDIUM SIZE APPLES (I USED ROYAL GALA APPLES)
1/2 TSP OF CINNAMON
1/4 CUP SUGAR (50 g)
PINCH OF NUTMEG
1 LARGE EGG
1/2 CUP SUGAR (100 g)
1 TSP VANILLA SUGAR OR 1/2 TSP VANILLA EXTRACT
1/4 CUP VEGETABLE OIL (60 ml)
1/4 CUP MILK (60 ml)
1 CUP ALL PURPOSE FLOUR (150 g)
1/4 TSP BAKING SODA
3/4 TSP BAKING POWDER
PINCH OF SALT
1/2 CUP CHOPPED WALNUTS
- 8 INCH SPRING FORM PAN COVERED WITH PARCHMENT PAPER AND BUTTERED.
- BAKE IN A PRE-HEATED OVEN AT 350 F/180 C FOR ABOUT 40-45 MINUTES OR UNTIL A SKEWER INSERTED IN THE CENTER COMES OUT CLEAN.
NOTE: MY CUP SIZE IS 250 ml.
