6 Pita Bread Pockets
1 ts Garlic Powder (optional)
These are great with dips, soups and in lunches. For more fiber, use whole wheat pita bread. Preheat oven to 325 F. Split each pita pocket in half. Cut each half into 6 triangles with a sharp knife. Arrange in single layers on cookie sheets. Sprinkle lightly with garlic powder, if desired. Bake for 8 minutes or until chips are lightly browned and very crisp. Store in an airtight container until ready to serve. 3 large pita bread rounds cut into small triangles
3 tablespoons olive oil
½ teaspoon garlic powder
¼ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon pepper
Hummus or labneh for serving
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Pre-heat the oven to 375°F (or 400°F if you're using thicker pita). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Cut the pita into small triangles and place on the prepared baking sheet. Add the olive oil, garlic powder, salt and pepper and toss with your hands to combine. Arrange evenly on the baking sheet.
3. Bake in the preheated oven until the pita is lightly golden brown, about 10-15 minutes (the thicker pita will need more time), turning halfway through.
4. Allow the pita chips cool completely before serving. Serve with your favorite dip or on top of a Mediterranean salad.

Toasted Pita Bread | Mumtaz Hasham
Ingredients:
Store bought pita bread
2 tbsp olive oil
Dash of salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp dried parsley
Cut the pita bread in triangle, drizzle olive oil add salt and pepper and mix well. Sprinkle with paprika and dried parsley.
Bake in the preheated oven at 450F for 5-7 minutes until golden brown when done let it cool and store in ziploc bags and enjoy with Humus or any dips of your choice.
