How To make Sinigang Na Baboy(Pork In Sour Broth)
1 1/2 lb Pork riblets or pork ribs,
-country style,cut to pieces 5 c Water
4 md Tomatoes, sliced
1 md Onion, sliced
1 1/2 ts Salt
1 md Icicle radish, cut into
-1" pieces -(or 10 red radishes 1/4 lb Green beans
1/2 lb Spinach (or cabbage
-mustard greens or -watercress) 5 md Sampaloc (tamarind)

1. In a large pot, bring water and pork to a boil. Add tomatoes, oni salt
and tamarind. Simmer 1 hour or until pork is tender. 2. Optional: Remove tamarind and mash with some broth. Strain juice into
pot. 3. Taste for seasoning. Bring to a boil. Add green beans and radish 10
minutes. 4. Add spinach, cover and remove from heat. Let stand 5 minute to fi
cooking spinach. Variations: Beef (stewing, brisket, shank or plate) may be used in pl of pork. Adjust cooking time for each.

Ours has got to be #Sinigang! And we love a good ????hack????, this cuts cooking time by half. We’re using Sio Bak (similar to a Lechon) that you can get from the hawker centres or even supermarket delis. Or you can get Lechon from your local Pinoy shop!
PS: You can also add the pre-mix packets for an extra oomph of flavour.

INGREDIENTS
2 lbs pork short ribs
Enough water to parboil pork, then drain
10-12 cups water
2 bunches baby bok choy, washed
2 cups long string bean, cut into 2 inch pieces
1 handful sweet chili peppers
1 cup chopped taro (gabi)
2 roma tomatoes, chopped
1 large onion, chopped
1 pack of tamarind soup mix
2 tbsp fish sauce
OTHER VEGGIE OPTIONS: Eggplant, okra, water spinach, and daikon.

●500 grams pork, sliced into 3 cm cubes, preferably with some fat.
●1 cup green tamarind broth
●1/2 cup chopped onions
●1 tablespoon chopped garlic
●1 cup chopped tomatoes
●100 grams sliced string beans
●100 grams sliced daikon radish
●100 grams sliced eggplant
●2 pieces long green peppers
●100 grams okra
●100 grams chopped and peeled taro root
