HOW TO MAKE BUTTERSCOTCH BROWNIES *KITCHEN WOODWORKS*

COOKBOOK: Kitchen Wookbooks
RATE: ❤️❤️❤️❤️ moderate cook
I never knew that there was a recipe book completely dedicated to ‘squares’! To be exact, 150 squares!
For some silly reason I read the word ‘brownies’ and i relate it back to chocolate. This is not the case. I have now learnt that there isn’t necessarily chocolate in all brownies.
These little sweet ‘squares’ were delicious!
Way too easy to make and very presentable on a platter. Perfect for a tea party or after dinner munchies.
RECIPE: This recipe got the measurements correct. I doubled the recipe and made a large tray and it made well over 40 squares (small) see video.
The icing/butterscotch mix will require a little more icing sugar (surprise surprise). Let it stand for 5mins only before pouring on the cool layer (brownie)
These slices were delicious and just as delicious the day after. I rated it moderate due to the butterscotch sauce. It might be a little tricky to get the consistency right here.
HINT: Remove it from heat if you feel it is starting to burn. Pots don’t have to stay directly over heat at all times.

Butterscotch Blondies
Butterscotch Blondies are a delicious and rich dessert bar made with the familiar flavor of butterscotch paired with maple syrup. These Butterscotch Blondies have a twist as they have an added crunch to their texture with Georgia-grown chopped pecans. Blondies are similar to traditional brownies with the absence of chocolate. The brown sugar is the star of the show with blondies. If you're looking for an indulgent alternative to a chocolate brownie, give these butterscotch blondies a try. They are sure to create conversation over a glass of cold milk or a cup of hot tea.
