As promised, here's the fake snow video follow-up where I try to make DIY snow ducks! I'm surprised I never thought about making fake snow before since the sensory experience is similar to slime or kinetic sand. As a side note, baking soda or cornstarch based fake snow won't work for cloud slime. To make that, you will need the sodium polyacrylate type of instant snow that puffs up with water.

1) FROZEN SHAVING FOAM
Fill up a container or ziploc bag and freeze. This works with any type of shower or body lotion foam as well. Very fun (and cold) to play with but melts fairly quickly.
2) CORNSTARCH & BAKING SODA
Mix equal parts together and add a tiny bit of water to create a crumbly texture. Do not add too much water or the cornstarch will start turning into oobleck.
3) BAKING SODA & SHAVING FOAM
Mix together until you have a snowy texture. This one was my favourite but I noticed the shaving foam started to evaporate after a while. If you want to keep it for longer you may have to keep adding more foam each time.
4) INSTANT SNOW
This is made from super absorbent polymer and can be reused. However it's not suitable for modelling such as making snowballs or other figures.
5) CORNSTARCH & LOTION
I didn't film this one since I already included it in a previous video. This recipe is popular on Pinterest but I feel it's a lot more like a DIY Play-Doh rather than a snow.
