Dutch oven White Chicken Chili Recipe
Inspired by all the various versions of White Chicken Chili, I change things up with some classic Cajun seasoning instead of the standard Cumin and Oregano. Thickening is done with a flour rue and mashed beans. This recipe is quick and easy, perfect for the Dutch oven and cooking outdoors!

Slow Cooker Chicken Chili

SLOW COOKER CHICKEN CHILI
RECIPE:
INGREDIENTS:
15.5 oz. pkg. Hurst’s® HamBeens® Slow Cooker Chili
1.5 lbs. boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 sweet yellow onion, diced
1 yellow bell pepper, diced
3 garlic cloves, minced
7 cups water
14.5 oz. can fire-roasted diced tomatoes
6 oz. can tomato paste
1/8 cup chopped cilantro
Salt to taste (I recommend ½ to 1 teaspoon)
SLOW COOKER SIZE: I recommend a 6-quart for this recipe
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Rinse and sort through the dry beans, sort out any debris and discard. Add the rinsed beans to the slow cooker.
2. Add the chicken breasts, onion, bell pepper, garlic and water. Add half of the chili seasoning packet (included in the bean package). Do not add tomato ingredients, salt or cilantro yet.
3. Cover and cook on HIGH for 5 hours without opening the lid during the cooking time.
4. Shred the chicken with two forks, you can shred them right in the slow cooker.
5. Add the diced tomatoes, tomato paste and remaining chili seasonings stir until combined.
6. Cover and cook for an additional 30 minutes on LOW heat.
7. Add salt to taste and stir in the cilantro. Serve with desired toppings and enjoy!

Chilli Chicken at its BEST. ❤❤❤
Chilli chicken has to be the go to option with almost any type of bread or rice items like fried rice recipes or noodles. The taste of the recipe highly depend on the details of the ingredients being used . Chilli chicken is generally a sweet, spicy and slightly sour tasting recipe with flavours of bell peppers, garlic, chilli sauce and soya sauce. You can also use boneless cubes of chicken.
Which style of chilli chicken do you prefer? Chinese or Indian?
While there are many different styles, ingredients and processes that goes into making chilli chicken. Here is one from us the easier version of all chilli chicken recipes :
Ingredients:
- Chicken
- Pepper powder
- Salt
- Soya sauce
- Tomato sauce
- Green chilli sauce
- Chilli powder
- Onion
- Ginger
- Garlic
- Chillies
- Cornflour
Preparation:
1. In a heated pan, add oil, 500 grams of chicken, ¾ tbsp of pepper powder and salt to taste.
2. Sauté for 5 mins on high flame and later cover and cook them for 15 mins on low flame. Sauté in intervals!
3. Add 3tbsp of soya sauce, 2tbsp of tomato sauce, 1tbsp green chilli sauce, 1 tsp chilli powder and mix them all together. Combine them well!
4. Add 2 big cubed onions, ¾ tbsp of garlic and ginger each and 6 slit chillies to this.
5. Mix them all well and cook for 5 mins.
6. Now to get a restaurant type of coating, all you have to do is add cornflour slurry to this.
7. Avoid using food colour in the recipe and we have replaced it with best quality chilli powder.
8. Ready to serve. ????

3 Chicken Breast
1 small Onion chopped

1 15 oz. can Black Beans drained (optional)

1 8 oz. can Tomato Sauce
1 cup cooking Wine
1/4 tsp. Salt
1/4 tsp. Black Pepper
1/2 tsp. Cumin
1 - 2 tbsp. Cinnamon
1/4 cup unsweetened Chocolate, grated finely
1 - 2 tbsp. Chili Powder, to taste
1/4 tsp. Cayenne Pepper or to taste
Sour Cream, (optional), topping
Shredded Cheese, optional

Pressure Cooker White Chicken Chili
