Jelly Fruit cake is a perfect refreshing dessert, vegetarian fresh fruit cake. No Bake Jewelled fruit Jelly Cake.
Ingredients:
Fruit Juice/ Water/Milk- 1 Ltr
Gelataine Powder- 2 tbsp
Fresh Fruits- as needed(Sliced)
{Apple, Pear, Kiwi, Pomegranate, Orange, Grapes}
Preparation: 2 hrs+ chilling , Serves 12
-Soak gelatine using juice/cold water for 10 minutes.
-Place juice & soaked gelatine ocer medium-high heat(until gelatine melts).
-Strain it through a fine sieve.
-Chill for 1 to 2 hours, until jelly is partly set but still quite liquid.
-Now fold sliced fruits into jelly mixture.
-Transfer to a Jelly setting Bowl or Bundt tin.
-Cover with plastic wrap and chill overnight to set.
-Gently invert jelly fruit cake onto a serving platter.
-Wait for 2- 3 mins, until jelly fall on the plate
Tips:
* Do not use Pineapple, kiwi, papaya or any citrus fruits, gelatine won't work.
*Dip base of tin into hot water for 30 seconds to loosen.
