Hungarian layered potatoes or scalloped potatoes or potatoes Casserole (in Hungarian: Rakott krumpli or rakott burgonya) are a great alternative to a traditional baked potato. Sour cream, potatoes, and hardboiled eggs all baked together...little ingredients, great food.
A Hungarian culinary classic that is not difficult to assemble.

Ingredients of Rakott krumpli:
- 2 lbs potatoes
- 7 eggs
- 1 teaspoon salt (or more to taste)
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
-1 tablespoons fat
- 2 cups sour cream
- 1/2 lb sausage or chorizo
- 1/4 lb sliced bacon

Layered Potatoes Potato Casserole Rakott Krumpli by Magdi
If you never baked or cooked, my videos are for you! My cooking requires with few simple ingredients and almost no effort. Budget friendly and taste good!
Hungarian style layered potatoes - Rakott Krumpli made with eggs, potatoes and sausages. Easy to make and taste delicious.
For one person:
2-3 medium potatoes
2 eggs
1/4 turkey sausage sliced
1/4 Hungarian sausage Gyulaisliced
4 tablespoon sour cream
Bake on 350 F 30 minutes with the lid and 30 minutes without the lid.
