How To make Homestead Salad
10 oz Mixed vegetables; frozen
17 oz Red kidney beans; drained
1 c Celery; diced
1/2 c Onion; diced
1/2 c Green pepper; chopped
3/4 c Sugar
1 tb Flour, all-purpose
1 tb Mustard, prepared
1/2 c Vinegar
Cook vegetables according to package directions; drain. Set aside to cool. Rince kidney beans and drain well. Combine celery, onion, pepper, mixed vegetables, and kidney beans. Combine sugar, flour, mustard, and vinegar. Cook over medium heat, stirring constanly, until clear and thick. Let cool; then stir into the vegetable mixture. Assorted colored peppers
1 Can black beans drained and rinsed
2 cans peaches and cream corn
2 Tomatoes
2 Avocadoes
2-3 cloves garlic minced
1 Bunch cilantro finely chopped
Dressing:
Olive oil drizzled o n approx. 1/4 cup
Juice of 2 limes
Salt and pepper to taste

Small white beans
Small red beans
Small black beans
Garbanzo beans
Veggies:
2 cups celery
2 2/3 cups onion
1 red bell pepper
Brine:
3 cups white vinegar
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 tbsp mustard seed
1 tsp celery seed
4 tsp canning salt
1 1/4 cups water

Our Favorite Homemade Caesar Salad Dressing
Homemade Caesar dressing is simple to make and can be done a few different ways: by hand, in a blender, in a food processor or by using an immersion blender. All methods are simple and quick. I particularly love doing this by hand and enjoy seeing little bits of the garlic and anchovy in the dressing. Get the full recipe and all of our tips here:

• 3 to 5 anchovies packed in oil, depending on taste
• 2 medium garlic cloves
• 1 large egg yolk
• 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
• 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
• 4 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
• 1/3 cup neutral oil (like grape seed oil, safflower oil or avocado oil), plus more as needed
• Salt and fresh cracked black pepper
