1 qt Chopped string beans
2 qt Shredded cabbage
2 qt Small onions, chopped
2 qt Chopped green tomatoes
2 lb Brown sugar
1 ga Vinegar
1 qt Green corn
2 qt Small cucumbers, sliced
3 bn Celery, diced
6 lg Carrots, chopped
1 Dozen green peppers, chopped
1 Red pepper, chopped
3 ts Mustard seed
3 ts Celery seed
Cook vegetables separately until tender in water to cover. Combine. Add sugar, vinegar, celery seed, and mustard seed. Mix thoroughly and heat to boiling. Mrs. D.E. Leonard, Bath, MI.

Chicken Cordon Bleu
Ingredients
2 pcs Boneless chicken breast
2 pcs sliced ham
2 pcs sliced cheese
2 eggs
½ cup flour
1 cup bread crumbs
Salt
Ground black pepper
Cooking oil
Procedure
1. Pound chicken breast until ¼ inch in thickness. Rub both sides of chicken with salt.
2. Top chicken breast with slice ham and cheese then roll the chicken. Tightly wrap chicken in plastic wrap to shape it, twist remaining plastic on the sides and tie it. Chill in the ref for 30 minutes to 1 hour. Or you can use toothpick to fasten the chicken.
3. In separate serving dish season flour, egg and bread crumbs with salt and pepper. Mix well.
4. Then dredge rolled chicken in flour, coat in beaten egg and roll in bread crumbs.
5. Heat enough cooking oil to deep fry in a pan and fry breaded rolled chicken until golden brown. Drain excess oil in paper towel. Sliced chicken and it’s ready to serve!

Potato Salad with Ham and Egg - Filipino Style | Easy Potato Salad Recipe
Creamy Potato Salad
INGREDIENTS:
3 large potatoes
1 carrot
2 eggs
1/3 cup sliced ham
100 g pineapple
3 stalks celery
1 white onion
220 ml mayonnaise
1 tsp ground black pepper
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp sugar
PROCEDURES
1. In a large pot of salted water, add potatoes (peeled) and eggs then bring to a boil. Cook potatoes for 15-20 minutes and cook egg for 10 minutes. When the water is boiling add carrot (peeled) then cook for 5 minutes.
2. Remove the carrot and put in a cold water (to stop the cooking process-blanching), do the same with eggs and potatoes, then drain.
3. In a pan, add butter, cook ham for 1 minute then keep aside.
4. Cut potatoes and carrot into small cubes and mash the eggs.
5. Chop celery and onion, set aside.
6. In a large bowl, combine mayonnaise, sugar, salt, pepper, mashed egg, onion, celery, pineapple, and carrot, combine well then add potatoes. Mix together well and refrigerate until chilled.
