How To make Crab Romanoff
1 lb Maryland crabmeat
2 c Hot cooked rice
1 Sour cream; (8 oz)
1 Cottage cheese; (8 oz)
2 tb Finely chopped green pepper
2 tb Chopped chives
1 tb Worcestershire sauce
1/2 ts Salt
1/2 ts Cayenne pepper or red
- pepper flakes 2 ds Garlic powder;
- 2 to 3 dashes 1 4 oz. can mushrooms; drained
2 tb Grated america cheese
Paprika for garnish Recipe by: The Maryland Seafood Cookbook. Remove all cartilage from Crabmeat. In a large bowl, mix rice, sour cream, cottage cheese and seasonings. Add mushrooms and Crabmeat: mix gently but thoroughly. Put mixture into a greased 2 quart casserole. Sprinkle cheese, then paprika over top. Easy Potato Romanoff - Twisted Mikes

This restaurant style potato romanoff recipe is delicious. Simple to make, it just takes a little preplanning. Give it a try.
Bake 3 large or 4 medium to small baked potatoes. Cool, and refrigerate overnight.
Shred potatoes using a grater. Once grated add the following
pinch of cayanne pepper
1/2 tsp white pepper
2-3 tsp salt
1/4 cup chopped green onions
mix by using two forks and tossing ingredients together. you want this to be light and airy, so you don't want to mash it in any way.
Add 2.5 cups freshly shredded white sharp cheddar cheese. Toss.
add 1.75 cups of sour cream, toss. Make sure you don't mix. toss with the two forks, otherwise you will end up with mashed potatoes.
in a buttered baking dish, place the mixture, do not press down. Just lightly move around. You want as much air as possible in the potatoes.
bake at 425, 30-35 minutes.
