How To make Christmas Bread
1 lb Frozen Bread Dough
1/2 c Candied Mixed Fruit
1/2 c Walnut,chopped
1/4 c Mincemeat
1 c Confectioners sugar
4 ts Milk
1/8 ts Cardamom ,ground
Thaw frozen bread dough according to package directions. On a lightly flowered board pull dough out until it is 12 inches long. Knead in the fruit,mincemeat and the nuts into the dough. With a sharp knife cut dough into 3 ropes, 12 inches long. Press the 3 ropes together on one end and braid on a greased cookiesheet. Let rise in a warm (90) degree place until double in bulk, about 1 1/2 hours. Bake in a preheated oven at 350 degrees F for 25-30 minutes. Cool. I am glad to share with you this beautiful Christmas Wreath - Christmas Braided Bread that is a great appetizer idea you can prepare for Christmas this year. It looks quite impressive and appetizing and even though it might look difficult to prepare it is actually quite easy and forgiving. This wreath consists of a simple yeasted dough, filled especially for Christmas with a green, white and red filling. Therefore, I chose a spinach pesto, cheddar cheese and red pepper for the filling but feel free to use whatever fresh herbs you like best for the pesto, like basil or parsley, different types of cheese and for a a more spiced appetizer sprinkle with red chili pepper flakes.

For the dough
2 1/4 cups (280g) all-purpose flour
3/4 tsp (4g) salt
3/4 cup (180ml) lukewarm milk, divided
2 tsp (6g) active dry yeast
1 tsp (5g) sugar
2 tbsp (30g) butter, melted
1 egg yolk
Spinach Pesto
1.5 oz (40g) fresh spinach leaves (basil or parsley are good too)
1 garlic clove, minced
2 tbsp (20g) walnuts
1 tbsp (15ml) lemon juice
1/4 cup (20g) Parmesan cheese, grated
Pinch of salt
2 tbsp (30g) olive oil
For the filling
1 cup (100g) cheddar cheese, grated
1 red pepper, finely chopped
For brushing
1 egg white

Christmas Bread Recipe for Bread Machine
2lbs.
Ingredients:
1-1/4 cups warm whole milk
1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
2 tablespoons butter, softened
2 tablespoons sugar
1-1/2 teaspoons salt
3 cups bread flour
2 teaspoons active dry yeast
3/4 cup golden raisins
3/4 cup raisins
1/2 cup dried cranberries
1/2 teaspoons grated lemon zest
Glaze:
1/2 cup confectioners' sugar
1-1/2 teaspoons 2% milk
1 teaspoon butter, melted
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract or lemon extract
Add ingredients to pan and select basic bread setting. Add dried fruit before final knead.

What is Panettone?
Panettone is an Italian type of sweet bread originally from Milan, usually prepared and enjoyed for Christmas and New Year
How to make Panettone?
To make traditional Italian panettone, we use sourdough starter to prepare the dough.
And in many traditional Italian Panettone recipes they use a preferment like biga or poolish to make panettone.
In this easy recipe we are not using any preferment and so its so much easier to make than a traditional Italian Panettone Recipe.
We use only six basic basic ingredients to make our panettone dough and then in the second step we add all those special ingredients and make our panettone dough a festive one!
For baking Panettone ,Arrange the rack in the lower rack and set the temperature to 350 F.
After 30 minutes of baking Panettone, reduce the temperature to 325 f and bake for another 25 to 30 minutes.
