boiling 1/2 c Golden raisins 1/2 c slivered almonds :
toasted 2 apples -- peeled and chopped 1/2 tsp coriander 1/4 tsp Ground cinnamon 1/8 tsp Ground cloves Preheat oven to 400F. Combine all ingredients in a 9x13x2 inch glass baking pan . Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. The original recipe called for 2 1/2 c stock and 1/4 c unsalted butter. I have adapted it to reduce the fat.

Apple Crisp - Baked in the Coleman Oven
In this video my wife Gina and I make Apple Crisp in the Coleman Oven while car camping in Kouchibouguac National Park
Apple Crisp (full size) 6 baking apples peeled and sliced thin 1/2c (125ml) all purpose flour 1/2c (125ml) rolled oats (quick) 3/4c (175ml) brown sugar 1 tsp (5ml) cinnamon 1/2c (125ml) margarine or butter (cold) arrange apples in lightly greased 2L casserole dish. Combine flour, oats brown sugar and cinnamon. Cut in margarine or butter til mixture resembles fine crumbs. Spread mixture over apples and press down. Bake at 375F uncovered for 30 - 35 minutes. Option: substitute a few of the apples pieces with cranberries
Dairy Free Apple Crisp 8 apples 1/2c light olive oil or other vegetable oil 1 1/2 tsp vanilla 1 1/4c quick rolled oats 3/4c brown sugar Bake at 350F as above but for 40 - 50 minutes
