QUICK STIR FRY RECIPE, budget dinner, economy meals, cheap UNDER $5 for a family of 4, High fiber, low calorie, serves 4 to 6.
Full platter: 1500 calories
4 servings: 325 calories each serving
6 servings: 250 calories each serving
This is a very economical recipe, and it can be switched up by changing the carb to rice, noodles, rice noodles, potatoes (mashed, wedge baked, hash-browns), or by baking as a casserole with cheese and breadcrumbs on top, or as a thick soup by adding more water to form a sauce; all for about the same cost. Feed a family for little cost!
RECIPE:
1 bag frozen vegetables (your choice)
1/2 bag pasta, (or more)
1 can mixed beans (or black beans, kidney beans or any beans of your choice)
Optional: mushrooms
Olive oil,
Onion powder,
Garlic powder,
Salt and pepper,
Any sauce of your choice, (BBQ, Salad dressings, Sweet and Sour sauce, even ketchup or mustard)
Cook pasta in boiling water till tender.
Drain, add 1 Tablespoon olive oil, seasonings of your choice and any sauce of your choice.
Stir fry: 2 tablespoons olive oil, mushrooms (optional) and 1 bag of frozen vegs
Add seasonings of your choice.
Place cooked vegs in center of a platter.
Arrange pasta around the outside.

Most of the time we prepare Nati Koli Saaru But for a change Try this Nati Koli Fry.This Chicken may take Long time to cook but this is healthy and tasty.
Ingredients needed are
Nati Koli/Country Chicken - 300 gms
Onion - 1 Finely chopped
Green chillies - 4 to 5
Ginger and Garlic Paste - 2 tsp
Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp
Red Chilli Powder - 1 tsp
Dhaniya Powder - 1 tsp
Garam masala - 1 tsp
Pepper Powder - 1/4 tsp
Few Curry Leaves
Few Coriander Leaves
Water - 1cup
Ghee - 1tsp
Salt
Oil

Indian Style Chilli Chicken and Noodles
INGREDIENTS for Chilli Chichen Gravy-
for the marination
400 grams boneless chicken thighs or chicken breasts (cut into 3/4 inch pieces)
2 tablespoons cornflour (cornstarch)
1/2 teaspoon ginger garlic paste
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon chilli sauce
1/2 teaspoon chilli powder
1/2 teaspoon pepper powder
1 egg
1 tablespoon Vinegar
Oil for Frying
For Gravy Preparation
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon chilli sauce
2 tablespoons tomato ketchup
1/2 teaspoon chilli powder
1 teaspoon white vinegar
1/2 tablespoon turmeric
1/2 tablespoon Garam Mashala
2 Tablespoon Tomato puree
1 cup water
for the stir fry:
1 1/2 tablespoons vegetable oil (neutral flavored)
3–4 green chilies (slit lengthwise)
1 teaspoon finely chopped garlic
1 teaspoon finely chopped ginger
3 large onions
1 large green capsicum
2–3 spring onions, finely chopped
1 small beetroot
INSTRUCTIONS
1. In a large bowl mix together all the ingredients listed under marinade (flour, cornflour, ginger garlic paste, soy sauce, chilli sauce, chilli powder, pepper powder and egg) and add chicken. Set aside for an hour.
2. Heat oil for deep frying in a deep pan or kadhai , Once the oil is hot enough start adding the chicken pieces and deep fry for 5-10 minutes, turning once or twice till golden brown on both sides. Take the chicken pieces out on a plate and set aside.
3. In another wok or kadhai, heat one and a half tablespoons oil and add green chillies, ginger and garlic. Saute for a minute or so and add the cubed onions. Stir fry on high heat for 2-3 minutes and add the capsicum and beetroot, add all spices Turmeric, Red Chilli and Garam Masala and fry 3-4 mins. add all sauce (soy sauce, chilli sauce, tomato ketchup, chilli powder and vinegar) and cook for 2 mins. Add with 1 cup water and set after 5 min add chicken
and fried chicken. Toss together and cook for 5 minutes.
Top with spring onions and serve immediately!
