How To make Bulghur Burgers
4 c Water
2 c Bulghur
2 tb Oil
1 Onion, diced
2 Beets, grated
2 Carrots, diced
1/2 Head cabbage, chopped fine
3 tb Tamari
1 ts Garlic powder
In a large pot, heat the water to a boil. Add the bulghur, reduce heat, and cook for 20 minutes, until the bulghur is soft and the water is absorbed. Set aside. Preheat oven to 350. Heat the oil in a large skillet, over medium-high heat; add the onions and saute for 3 minutes. Add the beets, carrots and cabbage, and saute for 7 minutes more. Add the seasonings. Remove from heat and combine with the bulghur. Shape the batter into burgers to fit buns. Place on oiled cookie sheet, and bake for 20 minutes; turn over and bake for 29 minutes more. Makes 1 1/2 to 2 dozen.

2 carrots, 1 onion (optional) and 2 celery stick
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp onion powder and garlic powder
1/2 tsp mild chilli powder
1/2 tsp ground coriander and cumin

Feta cheese salad:
- Handful each of parsley, mint and chives
- 250g small baby tomatoes
- Half of feta cheese block
- Black pepper
Hamburgers:
- 80g bulgur
- 500g minced veal or beef
- 1 clove of garlic
- 1/4 teaspoon of cayenne pepper
- 1 teaspoon of cumin
- A pinch of salt
- Handful of parsley
➔ RECETTE EN FRANÇAIS:
Sauce Tahini:
- 1/2 jus de citron
- 2 cuillères à soupe de tahini
- 5 cuillères à soupe d'eau
- Petite gousse d'ail
- Pincée de sel
Salade de fromage feta:
- Une poignée de persil, de menthe et de ciboulette
- 250g de petites tomates
- La moitié du bloc de fromage feta
- Poivre noir
Hamburgers:
- 80g de boulgour
- 500g de veau ou de bœuf haché
- 1 gousse d'ail
- 1/4 cuillère à café de poivre de Cayenne
- 1 cuillère à café de cumin
- Une pincée de sel
- Une poignée de persil

80g de bulgur
500g de ternera o ternera blanca

Lebanese Dish: Bulgur and Tomatoes|برغل ببندورة على الطريقة اللبنانية
Ingredients
1 yellow onion
3-4 tomatoes
1 cup bulgur #2
2 cups boiled water
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp Lebanese seven spices (optional)
1 tbsp tomato paste (optional)
2 tbsp olive oil (or vegetable oil)
Cooking bulgur is very similar to cooking rice. You always need boiled water that is double in amount to that of the dry bulgur used.
With the amounts mentioned above, it will take about 20-30 min to cook the bulgur (over medium heat for the first 3 min, then over low heat for the rest of cooking time). A rule of thumb, turn off heat once all the water is absorbed by the bulgur.
