How To make Biscuits with Ham Butter
WALDINE VAN GEFFEN VGHC42A:
1 1/2 c All-purpose flour
2 ts Baking powder
1/2 ts Salt
3/4 c Sour cream
1 Egg; lightly beaten
1 c Ham; cube
1/2 c Butter or margarine; soft
In a bowl, combine flour, baking powder and salt; set aside. Combine sour cream and egg; mix well. Stir into dry ingredients just until moistened. Turn onto a lightly floured surface; knead gently 4 to 5 times. Roll to 1/2" thickness; cut with a 2-1/2" biscuit cutter. Place on a greased baking sheet. Bake at 425~ for 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly browned. Meanwhile in a blender or processor, process ham until finely minced. Add butter and continue processing until well mixed. 2 cups all purpose flour

1 tbsp sugar, optional
1/4 tsp baking soda
1 stick cold butter, diced
1 cup buttermilk
1 cup shredder cheddar, about 4 ounces
1 scallion, chopped
Fig jam, for topping
8 ounces deli-sliced ham
Bake at 400 degrees for about 15-20 minutes
You can also brush the tops with melted butter, optional

Cheese Biscuits Recipe with Ham | The Chef's Pantry
Today we are joined by Executive Chef Nick Deutmeyer of Harvest, who is showing us how to make Cheese Biscuits with Ham! #TheChefsPantry
Recipes:
Holiday Ham and Cheese Biscuits
6 oz butter
3 cups AP flour
1 Tbsp Baking Powder
1 Tbsp Salt
1 cup shredded Cheddar Cheese
2/3 cup chopped/shredded Glazed Holiday Ham
2 cups Buttermilk
¼ c heavy cream
Cut butter into small pieces and set aside in the refrigerator.
Mix flour, baking powder and salt together.
Add butter to the flour mixture and cut in with your hands until it is broken into small pea size pieces.
Add the ham and cheese and mix to incorporate.
Add buttermilk and, being careful not to overwork, form into a soft, slightly moist dough, adding more buttermilk if necessary.

Holiday Ham Glaze
¾ cup Maple Syrup
½ cup Brown Sugar
3 Tbsp Dijon Mustard
Zest from 1 Orange
1 Tbsp chopped Rosemary
Cracked Black Pepper
Mix all ingredients together and cook over low heat while stirring until sugar is melted and everything is smoothly incorporated.
