How To make Banana Fritters1
1 C. all-purpose flour
1/4 C. sugar
2 Tsp. baking powder
1 Tsp. salt
1/4 Tsp. ground nutmeg
1 beaten egg
1/2 C. milk
1 Tbsp. cooking oil
1 Tsp. vanilla
cooking oil for deep-fat frying 3 bananas -- cut into 1-inch
pieces hot fudge sauce -- maple syrup or powdered sugar
In bowl stir together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and nutmeg. Combine egg, milk, 1 tablespoon oil and vanilla; stir into dry ingredients until smooth. In wok heat 2 inches oil to 375 degrees. Dip banana pieces into batter; fry a few at a time in hot oil for 2 to 3 minutes or until golden. Drain on paper toweling. Serve with hot fudge sauce or maple syrup or sprinkle with powdered sugar. Makes 4 servings. Pineapple Fritters; Substitute 1 (15 1/2 ounce) can pineapple slices, well drained and halved, for the bananas in recipe. Apple Fritters: Peel and core 3 large apples; cut into 1/2-inch slices. Substitute for bananas in recipe. Strawberries Fritters: Hull 18 large strawberries; substitute for bananas in recipe.

Ing:
2 Cups of oil for frying
Yeast Banana Fritters
1 cup all purpose flour
1/4 cup rice flour
1 tbsp powder sugar
1 tsp yeast
enough warm water to make a pancake like batter
1/2 tsp cardamon powder
3 or more bananas
Leave it on the counter to double in size
NO Yeast Banana Fritters
1 cup all purpose flour
1/4 cup rice flour
1/2 tsp cardamom powder
enough water to make a mixture that is a little thinner then pancake batter
4 or more ripe bananas or until the mixtures finishes
Method:
Once the dough has risen then cut bananas in slices about 3 to 4 milliliters in thickness and put them in the batter and fry in oil that is on med high. Finish frying all and let the cool down completely before you sprinkle with powdered sugar .
For the no yeast banana fritters let the dough sit on the counter for about 15 minutes before you fry them, cut them the same thickness and deep fry on med low heat until golden brown, transfer on a pan lined with paper towels to get rid of access oil. Make sure and let them cool completely before you sprinkle them with powdered sugar.
These can be enjoyed alone or even with a bowl of ice cream.

Banana Fritters with Toffee Sauce
Super simple banana fritters - a fuss-free and DELICIOUS snack/dessert option that your friends and family will love????✨
Ingredients:
½ cup butter
½ cup sugar
½ cup heavy cream
½ tsp vanilla essence
¼ cup White Star Instant Maize Porridge (Banana)
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
¼ tsp bicarbonate of soda
Salt
1 large egg
1 tsp vanilla essence
1 tsp lemon juice
2 bananas, roughly chopped
Vegetable oil (for frying)
Icing sugar, optional
Directions:
For the toffee sauce:
1. Melt the butter in a saucepan together with sugar, heavy cream & vanilla essence.
2. Bring to the boil & set aside once caramelised.
For the banana fritters:
1. Combine White Star instant maize porridge with all-purpose flour, baking powder, bicarbonate of soda and salt in a large mixing bowl. Whisk to combine.
2. Whisk the egg, vanilla essence & lemon juice in a separate bowl.
3. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients along with the chopped banana and use a spatula to fold the mixture together until just combined.
4. Use a spoon to gently drop spoonfuls of batter into the hot oil and fry on one side until you see the edges starting to turn brown.
5. Flip and continue frying until brown on the other side.
6. Drain and let the fritters cool a bit before dusting with icing sugar.
7. Serve warm with toffee sauce and ENJOY!
