How To make Angels On Horseback
1 pt Large fresh oysters
12 sl Bacon, cut in half
1/2 ts Salt
1/8 ts Black pepper
1/8 ts Paprika
2 tb Fresh parsley, chopped
Drain oysters. Lay an oyster across 1/2 slice bacon. Sprinkle each oyster with seasonings and parsley. Roll entire strip of bacon around oyster and fasten with toothpicks. Place oyster on a rack in a shallow baking dish. Bake in 450 degree oven for 10 minutes, or until bacon is crisp. Remove toothpicks and serve. I'm very sorry about the dark picture the last couple minutes of the video! It didn't look quite that dark to me in editing, and it's even worse on mobile phones than it is on computer screens. Lesson learned. Hope you enjoy the story nonetheless!

Braai - Angels on horseback
An epic braai and easy one for a starter!

My 25 Days of Christmas! Day 9 - Devils on horseback’s.
Ingredients-
-8 Rashers of Streaky Bacon
-8 prunes
-4 springs of thyme
-40g cheddar cheese
-Salt & pepper to taste
-drizzle of balsamic.
Method:
-Line a baking tray with parchment paper and pre-heat your oven to 180°c.
-cut your cheese into small rectangular blocks.
-carefully remove the stones from the prunes and replace with the blokes of cheese,
-lad the of bacon flat across the tray then flatten & place a few picked thyme leaves across the middle.
-put your prune on the end closest to you.
-Roll each one, creating your devils on horseback’s. Then roast in an 180c oven for 10mins, serve, drizzle & enjoy!
