How To make American Chocolate Bread
1 1/2 c All-purpose flour or bread
-flour 1 c Warm water (105 - 115 F)
2 Envelopes dry yeast
2 tb Honey
Dough: 1 c Lukewarm milk (95 F)
3 tb Butter, melted
4 To 5 cups all-purpose flour
-or bread flour 8 oz Semisweet chocolate,
-coarsely chopped 1 Egg beaten with 2 Tbs
-whipping cream (glaze) Sugar Makes 8 small loaves Sponge: For sponge: Whisk flour, water, yeast and honey in large bowl until smooth. cover with plastic. Let stand in warm draft-free area 1 hour. For dough: Stir down sponge, using wooden spoon. Blend in milk, butter and salt. Mix in enough flour 1/2 cup at a time to form soft dough. Knead on floured surface until smooth and no longer sticky, adding more flour if necessary, about 10 minutes. Grease large bowl. Add dough, turning to coat entire surface. Cover bowl with plastic. Let rise in warm draft-free area until doubled, about 1 1/4 hours. Grease eight 2 1/2 x 4 1/2-inch loaf pans. Gently knead dough on lightly floured surface until deflated. Pat out to 3/4 inch-thick rectangle. Cut into 8 even pieces. Pat each out into 4x7-inch rectangle. Spread 1 ounce chocolate on short end of each. Roll up jelly roll fashion. Pinch seam and ends to seal. Arrange seam side down in prepared pans. Cover with kitchen towel. Let rise for 15 minutes to lighten. Preheat oven to 375 F. Brush loaves with egg glaze and sprinkle with sugar. Bake until light brown and loaves sound hollow when tapped on bottom, about 30 minutes. Immediately remove from pans. Cool on racks 10 minutes. Serve loaves hot. Variation: Spread 1 Tbs raspberry preserves on short end of dough before adding chopped chocolate. Bon Appetit

• Banana (Ripe): 400g | 14.1oz (about 4 medium bananas)
• Egg: 200g | 7oz (about 4 medium-large eggs)
• Oil: 200g | 7oz (1 US cup)
• Vanilla extract: 2 tsp
• Granulated sugar: 400g | 14.1oz (2 US cups)
• Salt: 1 tsp
• All-purpose flour: 300g | 10.6oz (2 1/3 US cups)
• Cocoa powder: 100g | 3.5oz (2/3 + 1/6 US cups)
• Baking powder: 1 Tbsp
• Baking soda: 1 Tbsp
• Hot water: 400g | 14.1oz (1 2/3 US cups)
????Bake at 365F | 185C for about 40 minutes until the center is cooked through
* The time & temperature may vary depending on the oven.
[Ganache frosting] Enough for 2 loafs
• Dark chocolate (I used 58% Couverture chocolate today): 400g | 14.1oz
• Heavy Cream: 400g | 14.1oz
• Honey: About 1 Tbsp
• Toasted walnut: Some (Optional)

Ingredients for making the best chocolate chip pumpkin bread:
1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
3/4 teaspoon salt
2 eggs
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 1/2 cups pumpkin puree (canned or fresh)
1/2 cup coconut oil (melted)
1/4 cup milk
1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions for making amazing homemade chocolate chip pumpkin bread:
- First in a bowl add your flour
- Then add in your baking soda
- Now add your pumpkin pie spice
- And season lightly with your salt
- Now mix everything together with your whisk
- In another bowl add your eggs
- Followed by your sugar
- And then your brown sugar
- Now mix everything together with your whisk
- Then add your pumpkin puree to the bowl
- And also add your melted coconut oil
- Now add in your milk to the bowl
- And mix everything together with your whisk
- Then combine the contents of both bowls together
- Mix everything together thoroughly
- Now add in your chocolate chips
- Fold them into the batter with a spatula
- Now line your bread baking dish
- Then pour in your bread batter into the dish
- Bake in the oven at 350F for 30 minutes
- Take it out of the oven and cover with aluminium foil
- Place back in the oven and bake again at 350F for 30-35 minutes
- Your chocolate chip pumpkin bread is now ready to eat
