How To make Polynesian Kabobs
20 oz Pineapple Chunks In Syrup
6 tb Soy Sauce
3 tb Honey
1 tb Dry Sherry
1 ts Grated Orange Peel
1/8 ts Garlic Powder
2 lb Cooked Ham, Cut Into 25
-Cubes (1 Inch) 1 lb Thick Sliced Bacon
25 lg Stuffed Olives
25 Cherry Tomatoes
Drain pineapple; reserve syrup. Blend syrup, soy sauce, honey, sherry, orange peel and garlic powder in large bowl; stir in ham cubes. Cover; refrigerate 1 hour, stirring occasionally. Cut each bacon slice crosswise in half; wrap pineapple chunks with halved bacon slices. Thread bamboo or metal skewers with a wrapped pineapple chunk, an olive, another wrapped pineapple chunk, a marinated ham cube and a cherry tomato. Place skewers on rack of broiler pan; brush with marinade. Broil 3 to 4 minutes on each side, or until bacon is crisp. Typed by Syd Bigger.

Have yourself a garden party with summer kebabs. This family recipe is sure to be a winner at your next garden party this summer. A combination of both meat and summer vegetables, this dish will provide all you need without the traditional sides. If you prefer, you may add a starch like rice, potatoes or corn to complement the kebabs. The Polynesian style marinade will have your tastebuds doing the hula dance. These flavors combined with the smoke from the grill will have 'em coming back for more and more. On special occasions, I will add beef tenderloin to the mix. I love my pineapple! I love my cocktails with pineapple and coconut. I even added some pineapple to my tacos this morning. And yes - I love pizza with pineapple too! This time, I made vegan Hawaiian skewers with veggies, tofu and pineapple, and they were just as tasty as they look!

Here is the full recipe:
???????? Ingredients:
- Pineapple
- Extra firm tofu
- Bell peppers
- Onion
- Salt & Pepper
Ingredients for the sauce:
- ¼ cup of water
- ¼ cup of apple cider vinegar
- ¼ cup of agave syrup
- 1 tbsp. of chili flakes
- 2 diced garlic gloves
- 1 tsp. of starch + 1 tsp. of water
???????????? Instructions:
1. In the pan, combine all the sauce ingredients except for the starch with water (that comes later).
2. Simmer on low heat for about 7 minutes.
3. Add starch mixed with water, keep stirring and simmer for about 30 seconds.
4. Set aside and let the sauce chill.
5. Next, chop all the veggies, tofu, and pineapple.
6. Place it in a bowl, season it with salt and pepper.
7. Add the sauce and gently mix the sauce in.
8. Let it all marinate for about 1-2 hours.
9. Thread the veggies, tofu and pineapple on skewers.
10. Grill on a hot grill for about 7-10 minutes or until ready.
